This would make an excellent case study and Ph.D/Master's thesis. I think that here is cause to believe that time in general is being spent differently, and it would also have a surface area to launch and levy criticisms on culture now vs the cultures of yesteryear with the obvious tech behemoths as the primary targets. However, the Silver lining being a way forward with technology that does in fact augment society as opposed to making society reductive.
