After seeing so many poorly uploaded episodes from other channels, I appreciate these even more. Perfect, quality and sound, plus intro and ending song included, perfect! So thanks again!👏😊
Thank you for the upload! I thought the 2nd property was perefect if they could have truly gotten it way under budget. The rooms for her father seemed in fine order and they seemed so excited to transform the rest to their taste. The 3rd one had way too little space. It'd not about keeping their two dogs but running a business. You'd need more than a garden for that.
I thought house number one had so much going for it (other than needing to have some of the property fenced in for the dogs). Perhaps with the noise generated during dog boarding, the house proved to be too close to other homes. ◼I did not get the appeal of property number 2, which was just as expensive yet required a great deal of $$$ work and would be less suitable for an aging parent.◼ I wonder if the couple ever found their dream property in Wales and if so, what exactly that property ended up looking like. ◼ I think it's interesting that they want peace and tranquility and an environment for a spiritual healing practice, yet they do dog boarding! Dogs can be pretty noisy.
Figured it out - the incredible number of "wows" may have something to do with her love of dogs, or "bow wows" ha - I love simplicity and their conversations must have a lot of "wows"
I also was pondering what their everyday conversations must be like, e.g. Him: "I think I'll have cornflakes for breakfast." Her: "Wow!" Or, Him: "I'm just popping to the loo." Her: "Wow!" etc., etc. Would drive me potty.
@@nottinghillad prices have been traditionally very low, as evidenced on this show. Lockdown had a big bearing as did working from home as all of a sudden there was no need to be close to workplaces. The second property with 9 acres would be at least £600k now in that condition. Even now, as the rest of the country is seeing prices ease, the market is incredibly strong for country properties here.
I wondered if they could ask the owner of house two if they could carve out 5 acres and buy without it. They didn't need 9 acres. They'd save some money with the extra acres. The mystery house is gorgeous, but no place for Dad. Sort of pointless considering what they asked for. I dislike this program when they either ignore the brief or show an over budget house.
Have to laugh at the difference between the English definition of “homely” and the US’s. We would say homey. The word, homely, to Americans means someone who isn’t all that attractive.
The old farmhouse will keep you busy mowing and renovating and you will have less time and energy for the business. The new architect designed home will leave you time to plan and manage a business...Think carefully!!
I want to add after watching this: God alone is the Healer as it is stated unambiguously in Exodus 15:26, ‘I am the Lord that heals you.’ Since the Bible teaches that God is Spirit, there can be only one Spirit since there is only one God. Spirit is thus a synonym for God. From the article: God is the only healer - Sunday Magazine
What a lovely couple. I hope all their dreams came true with their beautiful intentions.

Love Alistair! Lovely couple and nice diversity of properties. Love their enthusiasm. Nothing wrong with the word wow.

The couple run Eva's Retreat in Blaenplwyf, Wales ( named after her mom)
Can you pretty please add captions for the deaf to my favourite show?
I agree

I really didn’t think any home was suitable but the last made the most sense as perfect except for father’s bathroom addition needed.
Amazing property the second one.
Nooooo, what happened to them? Missing follow up shows terribly.
Herbaceous Gauda and Seeweed Gin! Wow, I want to have a look out for those two!
👍👍👍 Real full episode including end credits. Every episode of Escape To The Country should be of this audio, visual and editing quality.

Wow , wow, wow, wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow 😂

😊😊the mystery house was a real house..astonished they were less enthousatic
Me too
I would go for the 3rd house. I liked the layout, number of rooms as well as it's turn-key nature.
After Covid they would get nothing for that budget....prices went crazy in Wales over the past 3 years.
I wonder why. Maybe people just got bored with lockdown stuck in the city and decided to get a 2nd home in Wales, or move there for the 1st home

How many times did she say "wow" in the 2nd house?
hmmm too many
And "lovely" in the first house! Quite a few "wows" in the 3rd property, too. Kind of annoying, to be brutally honest.
I turned the sound off, she is a little annoying.
Whatever….
I agree.....@@richard0807
"Wow" x 1000

There was a downstairs media room that could be turned into a bedroom if an ensuite is added

Wow🤭🙃🤪
She said "wow" a lot!
I am Cere-Digging Alistair 🎉❤

2nd house it's just too much. Work, money, land... I think house no1 was just perfect for them and a father and dogs...
Good luck, that second house was nothing but a dreary money pit.
More hand holders. 🥴
Ye Gods......How many more "wow wow wows" ....

Doubt she is planning to be a Lord.
Oh no..soooo sooo sooo irritating .
Wow wow wow and clutching onto each other all the time. Love Alaistair though.
She has the Markle claw.
One of the weirder episodes.
