0:56 that exact train horn used to be heard in the background a lot in the Australian Football League at Geelong's Kardinia Park (now called GMHBA Stadium) back in the 80s, 90s and 00's 👍🏻
I love Prime 920’s for their common appearances on BN SD40-2s, otherwise I like the P3 & P5 I also can’t figure out any of the horns of the Portland Western railroad (specifically 2317 and 3051) I try comparing but never find out, so if anyone wants to help I have videos of them on my YT
They play the same chord as the high note on a wabco AA2. They’re cheaper horns but they are fussy. Somehow, the one I own is more air demanding than the much larger wabco AA2.
I think a more accurate title is "the sound of fouled locomotive horns" Most of these are horns with a note playing incorrectly and the horn needs to be serviced.
Any P or Leslie horn is my top favorite. Some phenomenal P3’s in here, musical and harmonistic sounding too.

SP never had SD40-2s.
SD40T
@@ArkansasLocomotiveWorks probably he meant the SD40T-2😉
@@ArkansasLocomotiveWorks Technically, they did if you were to count their SD40R's, SD40M-2's, and SD40T-2's.
