- In today’s episode I play a 1v1 disc golf challenge with one of the best Pro Disc Golfers in the world being Discmania Sponsored Simon Lizotte!
When Simon moved to my area this offseason I knew that it was my chance to capitalize on the opportunity to get together and film a collaboration and that’s exactly what we did, and the fact that it was at my home course at Borderland State Park is just that much sweeter.
I really hope you guys enjoy this episode as it’s a culmination of a lot of hard work and persistency over the years of building this channel and putting myself in a position to where something like this can come to fruition.

When I started playing disc golf a few years ago, I injured my right hand after a car accident. My thumb had to be amputated. I knew that if I were to ever play again, I would have to throw with my left hand. I searched UA-cam for lefty throwers and I found Noah. He recently hurt his dominant throwing hand. His determination and love for the game helped me believe that I could still play with my left hand. I practiced and practiced like he did and I'm actually better than I was throwing righty. I've always known Noah was pretty good but after watching him play with Simon, I knew he was a great player. #keepinspiring#Epicgame

When I was a kid I had whats called Nurse’s Elbow...my dominate arm was pulled out of socket 7 times..ss a result I have to drive with my right arm and put left handed. Left being my dominate. I will be 50 this year..been throwing since 88...its a tough road due to no sidearm or natural way to get a long natural right ending hyzer it is very tough when I get trapped short left to say the least. Its never stopped me from playing this great game of ours! Cheers to those who percivere im the face of handicap!

Favourite part is definitely seeing camaraderie, even though you two were competing. Disc golf is a special sport in which it's not uncommon for your competitors to cheer you on, feel your pain, and vice versa. Cheers, and thanks for the vids!

My favorite part was watching the bonus footage at the end. Especially the tombstone that landed directly behind the basket. It looked crazy!
Yeah some of those discs that landed behind the basket really made me think they just clunked in without hitting any chains haha
Daily Disc Golf yeah it definitely looked like the tombstone throw taco’d on the inside of the basket. I had to rewind a couple times lol
My favorite part of this video was to see how humble Simon is... Truly refreshing to see a player of his caliber play with such humility. But the best part of the match for me was when Simon made that first circle 2 putt to tie in 17 after miasing so many circle 1 or circles edge putts to tie. Great round y'all! My favorite moment was the part about thanking the crowd. We can’t always get out to the destinations to watch you all play. So a wave to us in UA-cam land helps bring us into the mix. Which is what you mentioned. So thank you for including us all! CHEERS!!

Best part of the vid - Hole #5 8:45 and the big thumbs up for a great recovery shot. I do believe the shot was called the 'prayer' shot. Church! Nice shot Noah. "I'm fine with that...fine with that." ...and then Simon runs it and hits basket. Great hole!

I was one of the ones who was all "you guys gotta get togetherjj!!!" - But, for reals...this is one of the best videos since "Santa Cruzmas", or Champs v Chumps...no reflection on Noah. So 'frickin' entertaining. You guys are both being polite, and by the end y'all are like; "fight hard"!!! Man, too many great moments to pick a favorite. I loved the sound Simon makes at 6:40 and then at 10:25 when he make a long putt, and says aww, sorry. Jajaja.

Loved this video guys, and just finished watching the 975 vs 1040 rated player video. It was great to hear all that and get to actually see the results and differences in the round. Especially hole 12 when Simon asked if it's ob. No. Oh then I'm fine. That shows his caliber and confidence in scrambling and recovery shots. He's not even worried as long as it's not ob. You talked about that in the other vid and it really struck me as an area I need to work on.

My favorite part was rewinding and playing just about every throw (and put) from you and Simon at .25/speed. Took me about 2 enjoyable hours to get through the whole vid. Noah I really Enjoyed this video. I was watching it with my girlfriend. To explain to her how good you were(Since we know Simon is really really good) I told her you won both rounds in Team Topo's Win at the Bombers last year. She was like, "Wow how can Simon beat him if that is true?" Kidding but not, Full respect for your skills and shows how good someone like Simon really is.

I love the genuine enthusiasm you have to play with Simon. He is really great at growing the game. Just messing around with the "ace" run at the end, the doggo, etc. All lots of fun to watch. Favorite part (sorry) was the chain out you had because of the expression on your face and how it solidified the difference per Simon's video on how 975 vs 1040 can scramble.

Hits cage from 50+ ft out and rolls 25+ ft away. Simon “that was the worst luck of the day”. Then you agreed with him. Amazing how such good people can relate to so many things and bring each other up, even a beautiful sport like disc golf.

This was my first time watching your videos. Super impressed that you even made it to hole 18. My favorite part was you being excited Simon hit the tree and he just turns around and asks “why are you happy” normally don’t want to root for bad things but you definitely need some lucky breaks against someone like him.

I'm new to disc golf and just played the same Blue to White layout. Love these videos especially since I recognize so many of the courses that the videos are in being from the area. Lets me know what kind of benchmarks I should be reaching for. Definitely gotta go back and watch em all. Love it man!

I was soldering a circuit watching this in the background, and the friendly competition reminds me of every random game I play with people I've never met. Somehow we are all friendly on the course, no matter who we are elsewhere. It's like nothing else matters. Ring the chains!

My favorite line is when simon says "it's like part of my routine i can't not do it." (when talking about waving to any crowd real or imaginary) and my favorite part was you guys battling it out on the last 2 holes, that was a nail biter. (excellent drives and excellent putts by both of you guys, and a little bit of robbery...it was suspenseful!

Great idea for a video, to show what a solid but normal player does on the same course as Simon. And as others have said, the challenge was well designed -- I was actually very intrigued to see who would win this nail biter. Fave part was the concept plus how you guys got along and genuinely seem to like each other. Although...who wouldn't like Simon?

I think my favourite thing about the video was discovering a new and interesting disc golf channel to follow; I came here from Simon's channel after watching the great content there about the difference between 975 and 1030, and I really enjoyed watching this round. It was interesting to see someone who is close to the top of the amateur game taking on a pro, and what that looked like.
If I had to pick one thing in the video itself, though, I would say that the thing the resonated with me the most was the crazy spitout on 6. I felt every single inch of the pain that you felt there.
That was such a terrible spit out from such a short distance to induce a 3 stroke swing very early in the match, not once did I think I would be giving up 3 strokes in 1 hole at all the whole round never mind 6 holes in, thanks for the support Andrew haha
Favorite part, probably the friendly banter but not forgetting to congratulate on the great shots. That's my favorite part of disc golf. Everyone is so encouraging and willing to help, whether it's through advice or just applying a little pressure to keep you on your toes. Keep up the great work. I look forward to more of your videos.

I think it would have been nice to also have edited in Simons discs and not only yours. For the viewers, for Discmania and as a consequence also for SImon. ;) And here you had a perfect chance to casually present your "guests" sponsor, as you were showing your own discs anyway, which in return also makes it more attractive for everyone to appear in your show.

It was great to see the differences between the two of you, how you approached different shots, and even the little 'analysis' after the shots. It really is good to hear what you did wrong as well as what you did right as I strive to improve my game. Just curious on that last putt it looked like you tried to go anny....was that hyzer line not there or the anny just suited your eye? My fav part of this vid was the whole dayum thing......it was awesome....kept me jacked for 36 mins haha
Hyzer line was more of a prayer hoping it would crash at the right time and I felt the anny was more of a controlled shot that I could smash without much risk. Tough gametime decision to make, hitting that tree off the drive was suchhhh a heartbreaker that was such a money line
love the vid! Good challenge rule to match players of different skill levels. It can be a battle for both players despite the difference and thats what gets the blood boiling on a quality round. Can't wait for the next thriller ;)

To ne honest I loved the whole vid!! Simon is the best and loved the part about the waving to the imaginary crowd and the rooster part 4 you. I get any brownie points for saying I loved the bonus footage at the end (aka the dog run through) or the total rando person walking near basket 18 on your tee shot! Keep up the great work/vids!
