My jaw is just to the floor with all of the amazing work you do, Dae. The stuff you can do with AI is just astounding, and it just keeps getting better... I would love to hear "enhanced demos" of songs from the Hamburger Sessions some day (not sure if YT will censor me for saying the more well known name...) And let me just say, I absolutely love the demo version of "Don't Let Her Know She's An Angel", it has such a haunting and sad tone to it. All it needs is some strings and it could've been a real tear jerker.
3 of the 4 I've never heard before and "Angel" is better quality than what I've heard for sure. Always look forward to your work with BBs music, thanks again!!!
The vocals are so good! Usually restorations attempt to underpower the instruments and noise but the vocals are so clean. If you told me these had just been newly leaked I would believe you
Can you do something for Don't Let Her Know She's An Angel like you did for let's put our heart together ? You did a great work on the last one by "pet sounded" it and it become my favorite non existant Beach Boys song
I’ve always loved the “Don’t Let Her Know” demo and it sounds absolutely wonderful here. When was it recorded? 1982? His voice has all of the Love You era soul, but it’s beautifully clear and controlled here. The ascending harmony line from the studio versions was the thing that made me like the song initially, but vocal here is so beautiful I don’t miss it at all. Although, this demo with a Brian + AI Carl harmony line would be incredible too!
Do you think you could do "Glimpse of Us" with a '60s Brian voice? I think it would work really well, but I understand if it's not in the canon you like working with.
@@ricomerrell Thanks, haha. I can even hear the arrangement - like a slapback jangle of tambourines/percussion in the background with a production akin to something from "The Beach Boys Today!" sung with the melancholy of Caroline, No or Please Let Me Wonder.
@@yes-op4wz Hmmm, the lyrics sound on-brand for something they'd write. Maybe it was the arrangement. I can hear it working in my head. I'd try my hand at it but I'm touring with my group right now and writing songs for that, plus I don't really know how to use AI as masterfully as "Dae Lims" does.
That's Brian Wilson. Who the f is Daniel Johnston? These are old demos that have floated around for years. DLims just cleaned them up and separated them.
@@danerd8978I bet he’s trying to say that these sound like music from an artist called Daniel Johnston. Which is true these demos sound very similar to his songs and style, which is very lo-fi and sound like demos anyway
TWO VIDEOS IN A WEEK? BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER!
Hell yeah
Best quality Rings I’ve ever heard. PLEASE do I Feel So Fine at some point
"Don't Let Her Know She's An Angel" is one of his greatest songs.
Don’t let Dae know he’s an angel
Man, this is great. I'd love to hear a properly polished and orchestrated version of Rings.
Waiting for the day we get enhanced Oh Lord
I’m curious how cleanups of the Live at the BBC Great Dane stuff would sound.
Well now we gotta get the Cocaine Sessions and Stevie

Brian ran the iron horse, so Daniel could walk the cow.
I was thinking the same thing
Nah.. This guy can actually sing. ;-)
