Man, I like your attitude and attention to detail! Form, fit, & function, all hallmarks of a job well done. I especially liked the use of the Rhino label system, which I think wire was invented for. The heatshrink labels are durable, easy to read, and don't peel. Keep getting it done like that!
That’s the most complete restoration I’ve seen on UA-cam. Including the trailer. That’s the only time I’ve seen anyone do the trailer. Lots of hard work into a beautiful restoration.
Wow that looks incredible. I’m doing this on a 19’6” champion my dad bought 30 years ago, been sitting 10 years since he passed can’t wait to take that first ride in it and bring back those memories.
That was absolutely the greatest transformation of a bass boat I have ever seen! what a great team you are all. Your in a league of your own Great job.
I worked at a ranger dealer for a few years. Loved working on these old rangers. I believe this model had a wood transom before they went to fiberglass. My mentor always told me to put the bottom motor bolts with the nut on the inside to keep water from running up the threads.
@@garlingoins2988 some say it was a myth but that’s the way I was taught to install them. Theory makes since and I didn’t question his experience over what little I had at the time. That old man taught me a ton about boats.
What a great job you did. I restored a boat about 15 years ago and it was alot of work. Still have it to this day. What you did was a extensive restoration even rebuilding a motor very impressive. Here's to you and many many happy hours on the water.
Wow! That was an amazing job! I've got an old Cajun bass boat that I want to restore like this. All the new boats on the market are great looking, but I just love the way older bass boats looked. Growing up on Lake Fork in the 80's & 90's, I saw so many of them every time a tournament rolled in & those older boats are still what I like.
I was thinking the same thing. But, maybe it's like with some classic cars that paint finish has aged. So, the current finish, blemishes and all are clear coated over to preserve the patina.
Excellent video you showed there, it was really nice. I have done similar to what you did with boats I have had in the past, one a 17.5ft Skeeter Bass Boat. Took it all apart from bow to stern and cleaned or replaced everything I could get my hands on. It was a labor of love, and no real work to me at all , because I enjoyed what I was doing. Sold it many years latter for 4 times what I had in it, it was that nice.
This is the boat my parents had when I was growing up. Though, I think the engine was a Mercury. Really cool to see this and remember those days growing up in the Ozarks on Table Rock Lake!
I watched this build from start to finish when it came out. Each video culminating in an awesome montage.I came back to watch it again and I’m still just as impressed with the detail that went into this. Awesome job guys👍🏽
Well done sir. Reminds me of my old man's '74 Ranger he bought at the factory in Texas. Caught my first bighead bass in that Ranger @ Stillwater Lake. Still have the fever. Thank you!
You guys are awesome; thank you saving that classic and letting us couch potatoes ride along. I had a 1985 Ebbtide 155, I wish I would have had the time, motivation and you guys to renovate it; she was a tri-hull beauty.
I had that exact boat but it was the bass master classic it was used in the bass master classic championship my friend bought it brand new in Springfield Missouri right after they fished it in the bass masters classic I was the second owner. It was a great boat. Wish I still had it to pass it down to my son. Great job restoring this one.
Someone must have had a lot of money and really wanted that boat restored like that that's an excellent job. I just sold that exact same boat 2 years ago after dropping 6k into it. Now I got a newer nitro...
after all you did to this boat i was thinking you would pull out the fuel cells even that you dident im still impressed with this its almost a new boat looks amassing
I wish I had the tools to do this to my boat. I have a 17ft ranger that needs this 😔 I’ve done the carpet but that’s about all I’m able to do. Nice video and nice freaking work!
Rocking the Drain Raider sweatshirt at 10:20 in. Hell ya dude. I redid my 85 373v this last year and still finding little things to upgrade here and there. Your videos were super helpful and informative. Your boat turned out great dude.
@@MealeyMarine I sent the video link to Art immediately when I seen it. Crazy to see an Oregon team sweatshirt make it all the way to you guys. That's awesome.
The best thing I did to my Champion was getting rid of the mechanical steering and went with hydraulic, after that I will never own another boat without it. But I did my transom and gel coat also.
Nice. I have a 87, 373 bass master classic that I need to get off my ass and fix. I want to replace the old Johnson engine with a newer used and more fuel efficient unit. Other than that I love my old ranger. These are great little boats.
Great series. I have a 1988 373v w 150 Black Max I am getting back in shape. I have assumed the defensive option ( only fix it if it breaks) for now. I was wondering if you had a parts list for the restoration. I would like to use a lot of the products that you used.
I'm impressed! Now you gotta go shopping for some fish finders. How did y'all get the shine on the fiberglass.? Machine buffing with mcquires oxidation removal solution isn't working too well for us. Also, what did y'all glue the carpet down with? We are restoring an '84 Ranger now. Don't forget to replace the steering rack and pinion under driver's console. Ours jammed on us going 25 mph with a 115 up mercury tower of power resulting in a scary situation.
This is a real tribute to the human spirit ! Best restoration I have ever seen ! Congratulations ! So thorough and complete , amazing.

Beautiful! I dreamed of having a Ranger as a kid. Watched Bill Dance every chance that I got. So glad to see this girl brought back to life!
Wow that looks incredible. I’m doing this on a 19’6” champion my dad bought 30 years ago, been sitting 10 years since he passed can’t wait to take that first ride in it and bring back those memories.

Very useful hint about bottom bolts, have heard about the older transoms rotting out.

What model? I'm restoring a cajun right now same color as this ranger
With al the work you put in. I would have thought about at least wet sanding the top portion of the boat. Bring some of that original color back
I was thinking the same thing.

Jeez I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I clicked this video
Good job
This boat is new and better built than most today. Great job . Excellent craftsmanship

Human beings are amazing creatures. That’s a testament of ability and hard work right there !!
This was absolutely amazing. I ride a 93 Stratos 285 Pro XL. This makes me want to get so many things done for her now lol
Very clean and professional restore! I like the personal flare added as well as the updated electronics! Top notch!

A lot of hard work goes into a restoration. The older bass boats from the 80s look best imho. All going great until you cut up the console...
This is not a restoration, this is a clean and update!
This was fun to watch. Shame you couldn't get the original color back but, the faded color is unique and cool.
Great job! I love it! 👍🏻👍🏻
just incredible the amount of work you have put into this restoration .... well done
I am amazed it only took you guys less then 40 mins I will try this on mines this weekend
Awsome job. An old restored boat will always be cooler than a new one.
Wow looks like a lot of hard work you guys are hard workers. I would have never know how much hard work goes into doing that.
Best restoration I’ve yet to seen like wow you took it from a 1 to a 1000000000000000
Followed the entire build from the first video, great work and the boat turned out great. Can’t wait to see you guys next project.
One of the best boat builds on youtube
Very Detailed Job, I Love when people take pride in their work.
Great Job 👍👍
Jonny Morris would be proud. Great job!

Amazing I really enjoyed watching with my husband and I’m not a fish gal but that was so fun to watch!
Damn that came out gorgeous
Incredible job.....I've been following along from the begining.....your crew are craftsmen!!!
Thank you sir!
That was awesome! I’d give anything to have my old 350V back. Great job to all involved.
Amazing work. Randy Hopper would be proud.
Now thats a huge compliment
Awesome work brother, we do the same up here in Indiana. I know the work it takes. Not many like us left
Hard to believe you guys did this in 38 minutes!!
Hahahahah
Now that is a full restoration. What an excellent job. Not a big fan of the seating choice, but that's just knit picking.
Best restoration video from the inside out!! Deserves more likes!
A pleasure to watch this restoration!!!
Patience is a virtue.nice work

It was great to see your Abigail Strong Silicon bracelet. Great Kid, May she Rest In Peace
Looks awesume
I used to have that same boat/trailer in that exact color scheme. That's awesome!! Makes me miss that boat!!
Great older model to restore remember when that was the top of the line rig
I wish I had the tools to do this to my boat. I have a 17ft ranger that needs this 😔 I’ve done the carpet but that’s about all I’m able to do. Nice video and nice freaking work!

Very nice video
Excellent job!!
Great job guys
Great job. Looks amazing
outstanding work sir
Great job apart from plywood I would have used a composite plastic to negate rot.
That was awesome.
Better than new!
Muy gran trabajo saludos desde la sierra de Madrid España
GOOD JOB .
Wow A+
Great video ! Fine boat ! Great job !
Awesome video, thank you for sharing!
