I got to see the field museum years ago.
I would love to be able to see it again.
I think I would not get enough of this museum.

28:55 The Permian Period isn't the beginning of the Age of Dinosaurs, dinosaurs appeared in the Triassic Period. Also the "chipback" Edaphosaurus and its relatives and the one beside it, the Dimetrodon, are not dinosaurs but are actually the ancestors of mammals (proto-mammals) called "synapsids". They are more closely related to us than dinosaurs!

30:44 It's a Herrerasaurus. "Archosaur" refers to the entire clade that includes dinosaurs, birds, crocodiles and some other extinct reptiles.

At 27:28 you say, "I don't think that's a pterodactyl" but right after at 27:37 while reading the display you say, "It's a pterosaur", which is correct. A Pterosaur IS a pterodactyl NOT a Dinosaur! The Daspletosaurus, years ago, was in the Grand Hallr lobby in an upright position over the Lambeosaurus. Back then it was called a Gorgosaurus.

Worth a visit, I think it’s important to document and preserve history. I personally do not see any contradiction between creationism and evolution, I’m a firm believer in evolution but hold the opinion an intelligent designer (God) sparked this incredible world & universe we’re all trying to figure out. Evolution is the phenomenal effect that was programmed at the start.
To quote the late great Michael Crichton: “Life finds a way.”

At 32:51 I’m sure that’s a an apatosaurus, fun fact! Brontosaurus was not considered a real dinosaur up until 2015 before that paleontologists thought brontosaurus and apatosaurus were the same!

16:17 whales are the best (April 6th,2023 and July 5th and July 3rd,2023/🙂/why? Because it’s still a good one/Taco Bell in Canada). Wouldn’t you still agree?
