I disagree. I thought the diamonds half flips were way better than the GC’s… it seemed like the GC was cancelling his too early.
Heavily agree. And delaying early like the GC did causes you to stay in the air longer giving you a slower recovery

The GC was landing well early on his back wheels which did make for a slightly straighter landing but also a way way slower landing and a much less clean all 4 wheel landing, the diamond was just barely toughing the rear first which made him far faster and with far more stable landings
This diamond is a better speed half flipper for sure
The GC makes the diamond look plat on wave dashes though

probably would've been better if they were prohibited from using boost aside from the speedflips test. recoveries and boost are both a source of speed, except recoveries require training and boost requires the press of a single button.

Are kbm half-flips, and wave dashes, easier? I have no trouble with them (i'm diamond, and i could get them right from the first try after knowing how to do them), and my brorther on conrtoller has trouble learning them. not trying to say im better, just honestly wondering if its cause im kbm
The gc or Trixx should have horse dashed for consecutive wave dashes. Instant win for the most useless mechanic in the game 😂

Im gold and can wavedash 360, half flip but can't speed flip, but most golds can't do these mechanics that are in the video not because they don't have the skill ( some doesn't have it ) but mostly because they aren't learning these mechanics. I really like your content btw !
