The video does not do it justice. You should see how Kopfs sound in person. I don’t think you could get a better sounding Cajon! When each one is handmade with the attention to detail as they deliver, it’s no wonder!

2 questions. Why do you use shellac? And what clear coat do you use?

I love using shellac because I can mix it really heavy and seal it with one coat. I also like the way it makes the grain pop. Plus, you can spray just about any clearcoat on top of shellac. Clearcoat is General Finishes Satin Topcoat.
