James is such an amazing person. He always speaks about his own past with extreme honesty and openness, his recovery journey is so inspirational and now he spends all his spare time paying it forward to help the addicted community and their families. Legend.

Great episode, very honest. The message at the end regarding tough love and not enabling the addict is so important.

well - that is amazing - that lad is a hero and should be doing "secondary school" no two ways bout it. fair play to his girlfriend, she clearly pushed him forward. thats a wow story and absolutely honest. Sad that lads are at home in prison but with a bed and three meals, gym and skool - that seems to be the way for poorer communities...

@@GAAShorts its a lot more complex than just hearing an interview the sad thing is once you are on that needle no pleasure will ever live up to that again ...i have with methadone cut down to about 2 times a week and my goal is to cut that to once a month and so on but its hard..my big problem like him were xanex etc and i cut them out completely they are charge sheets he was completely on the ball that is the term many people use for them anyway thanks for your comment means a lot

@@liamcronin8110 ye, I don’t know much about all that stuff but I understand what you mean. But what I’m saying is he is a good example that you will get through it if you try and i just thought that I would leave a comment wishing you good luck. :)

@@GAAShorts I appreciate your genuine offer of support. I think what the other lad is saying is how complex addiction is. I'm in recovery for over 20 yrs but can honestly say I don't know why I was able to stop when I did.
