i love all the motifs in this song. smart race, don’t forget, battle against a true hero, welcome to the city and lost girl. and it still sounds like big shot custom take without it sounding too cluttered. simply amazing
The extension of "Don't Forget", plus that blend of glitched lyrics near the end is just... So perfect. It feels like Spamton's was finally granted his freedom from the universe so he can save the Dark World, even if he *was* partially responsible for enabling the Player to do the Weird Route.
I love this song and especially its name. I see it having multiple meanings. Dead ringer means someone who looks exactly like someone else, a copy. This song uses a lot of motifs from Toby fox's work, and it feels like the song is copying off of those in some amazing amalgamation. The name could also literally mean something to do with phones. Spamton is a broken salesman and the person who called him to get him so successful one day stopped calling him. He lost his calls and success. The third meaning could be referencing the fact that Spamton sold us the Thorn Ring. He's partially responsible for the deaths of the people in the Cyber City by selling that ring, so he can achieve neo and take over the city. I might be overlooking this by way too much, but I found it fun to think about. I can't stop thinking about how good this song is!
I love the intro here, sounds like a corny "resurrection" scene in a movie/church music which goes scarily well with the context of this fight and religious themes of Spamton in general
i really like how you extended the Don't forget parts, i think it makes a cool affect for the song, if i do remember correctly, the original concept for DEADRINGER was that Spamton died froze, but Gaster keeps using him as puppet, so we are fighting dead Spamton, and don't forget makes it feel like Spamton's remains are talking to Kris
Okay, now I want to make Spamton gore art. Edit: You can tell I'm some slightly edgy 13 year old, right? I don't even remember commenting this, and it was 2 weeks ago.
I finally found this divine arrangement...! I'm a Japanese person who's not good at English, but I fell in love with this song.
May you find very amazing discoveries outside from your native language. We will welcome you!

Love the inclusion of “The Dark Truth.” That motif is really underrated.

This is not at all fitting, he wanted the player to do all that, but it makes for a cool song nonetheless
Wonderful cover, I really enjoy how the stakes feel heightened by the overall beat.
Amazing job!~
This hits different after the recent newsletter.
*you are in [BIG SHOT] DANGER, though this fight seems like a [DEAD RINGER]

I think Mystic Flour Cookie got to him, y’all.

Banging remix, 10/10. The 'With You In The Dark' part does feel a bit too climactic for the part in the story this would play at though.
holy this is good
Holy peak!
Love this cover! Where is the art from?

There isn’t an original concept for it, it’s just a snowgrave spamton theme similar to BAaTH and MEGALOVANIA for undyne and sans respectively
@@miniwhiffy3465 there was, however, it was mistooken for a "Spamton's snowgrave theme", if my info from the original video is right
Banger

*You realize that you fucked up [BIG] time.
