ive always wanted to go back and redo some old stuff and i'm starting with one of the first UT tracks i covered.. plus, i can fill the time between the bigger music videos (woah!)
initially this was an attempt to start uploading casually, but uh... yeah, this would've been out way sooner if it wasn't for my need to keep adding more..

Your ability to mix Touhou and Undertale together seamlessly is amazing and tickles the ‘tism very much. Please don’t stop putting subtle references in the tracks, I’d kill to see a Touhou remix with some Undertale nods too :)

Is it weird that I prefer Battle Against a True Hero over Megalovania? I think it makes more sense thematically and I like the flow of the song.
I assume it's basically because Toby always included it into every work he made, so he just put a cover of it at the end because he already had something he could use
I mean, yeah, BAaTH makes more sense to me too, but because it was made specifically for the game. I like Megalovania a lot too, and I understand Toby was pretty much just done with the game and it was a good opportunity, but this theme feels a lot more... powerful to me? It really does give that "burning feeling that won't die" impression

Battle against a true hero is where you start actually questioning your actions and start to realize you're being the villain
and megalovania is when you truly regret your actions
idk, just my interpretation, but ye, undyne's theme hits hard
Megalomania is overused, too many people made covers of only the most popular songs which somehow didn’t include BAaTH, and the fanbase’s obsession with low effort ‘AU’s’ meant that Sans as a character really just got overdone and tiresome. But for Undyne she didn’t get quite the same degree of love from the fanbase, and it’s taken a while for the song to get properly loved as it deserves for the best song in the game. Thematically it hits every note properly, the song sounds like what you’d expect to hear when the hero is involved, and Megalovania is just…it’s hectic yeah but I’ve learned the song just doesn’t quite match the pace of the fight. Yes it’s a Toby Fox classic, but like…there’s a reason ZUN, maker of the Touhou project, wanted to make a version of Battle Against a True Hero and none of the other endgame themes in Undertale.
