Definitely cheaper than what we’d pay in Canada for even one activity. Plus if you’re downtown in the city you’d have to add a ridiculous fee for parking. But obviously average family couldn’t afford this. Maybe over time they can offer group rates specifically for schools for a nominal fee for each child like they do here for amusement parks and such. Gets the kids who wouldn’t normally be able to afford it to go on a special day.
This is actually cheap compared to the USA. I took my children and spent $100 just for an hour and 30 mins. Let's praise these sisters for their great initiatives👏👏. People from abroad need places like this.
We don’t have younger children but we will go there for bowling. Really Accra needs more fun activities like this. I understand the pricing will not work for a lot of people in Ghana but isn’t it the same for such privately owned activities anywhere around the world, that not everyone can afford to pay to go to let’s say Disneyland even if they lived in the same town where it is located? How many Ghanaians living in Elmina can afford to pay to visit and tour the Castle? How about paying to do the Canopy Walk at Kakum National Park and these are Ghana government owned? Let the public Efua Sutherland Children’s Park at Ridge in Accra be renovated with public funds, well maintained, and be free to use so Ghanaians from all backgrounds will have a place to have fun. Can't compare other countries because mostly these places have free activities for kids. In Ghana, there is nothing. Poor kids play in the gutters and dusty streets. I moved from Ghana for this reason, I refuse to take part in the gentrification of ghana.
They will never make these things free, they don't care. They care about making money and that is all. If i come back to Ghana at all, it will be to create a free children's park not to create something that is only for rich people. 150 cedis an hour? An average family can buy food to last for weeks with that 150 cedis. We need to be mindful of helping the average Ghanaian not just those that have money to pay for these things.

As a fellow Ghanaian female entrepreneur I’m mainly moved by the fact that it’s Ghanaian owned and female owned 🇬🇭💃🏾! Comparing the prices to where I live (Malaysia), the one in Ghana is overpriced especially with the 1 hour time limit but creating this space is such a great and bold move by the two sisters so that’ll be my main reason for going there. I just hope Ghanaians won’t hype this up only to stop patronising it in a couple of months like is usually done with restaurants, bars, etc.
Great idea. I think they should've added Ghanaian local games such as Oware, Dame, Ampe, Ludu, antoakyire etc.. to mix things up and also a small football arena(like six aside) which is the most popular game in Ghana.

In order for Ghana to attract the kind of investments it needs to develop, it may need to compete with other major cities that have these amenities.

People get excited about expensive play parks for rich kids but no one is even campaigning to fix these badly kept spaces that could be used for free parks for kids. More churches than libraries and high quality schools too, until we understand whet development is, Ghana is going nowhere fast.

Insurance, health and safety provision, cleaning, toilet facilities, first aide on site! You want All of this but don’t want to pay🤮If you care for the welfare of your child and self, you would want to know that they have in place ALL the support to offer your child and self a SAFE and enjoyable place to play and enjoy. They were in the West😥 so they come with a mature and honest understanding of Health and Safety. So if the charge is too much don’t go😏😏😏😏Other can use it as a treat for their children and themselves. As someone said, you go build similar and charge less😏😏😏if you want. I did not hear or see that they demanded that any/everyone MUST participate in their activities. This price is way cheaper, you have no idea how much we pay to entertain our kids, not only that everything you buy the price is double as well. Stop complaining nothing is going to be cheap anymore anywhere. Is the experience for the kids not the price. This is what Africa gives you, so many gaps to fill in the business blanks, you get in there and you seize a business opportunity that is much needed. Children's spaces are nonavailable in most African countries.
