Could anyone tell about Girls hostel and food and safety measures in IIT Kharagpur?

I talked to a senior at IITKGP and this is what I got to know:
About the safety, the whole campus has only three gates and thus high security.
About food, the food mostly revolves around Bengali culture because the professors are Bengali. Though, you do get veg options obviously pura khana milega but non veg bhi veg ke saath hi stalls mai rehta hai. 😅
About the girls hostels, what do you exactly want to know?

Single rooms hai, but hostel allocation random hota hai toh it depends on luck ki single seater milga ya 2,3 seater

Bhai ...i really want to take admission in IIT Kgp ...but when i compare the facilities of IIT Kgp with IIT Guwahati then i find hostel of Guwahati to be much better than kgp...can u please share me the better insight of the hostel and mess food ..matlab 1st, 2nd year mein kitne bache rehte hai ek room mein and single room kab milta hai ...And i searched and found placements of Kgp to be less than Guwahati...for example Mechanical ka median 14lpa in kgp ...while in Guwahati it was 20 ..like that ...bhaiya bohot bohot zyaada confusion hai ..((bata dijiye na bhaiya kaisa hai andar facilities becoz i really want to work hard in my 1st tear to change branch ))and zyaada disturbance hoga to padh nahi paaunga ..isliye bhaiya baaki mess wagera ka khaana manage kar loonga .
