      @Jamie watson I was torn between the u1 and u. The reason I chose the u was the colour. I got the grey and red option which I think looks great. They only had the orange one in stock of the U1, which is still awesome but I would have preferred the black and yellow

    Having my CBT on June 4th and II'v chosen the Zontes U1 mostly cuz it has all the protective stuff thus saving me on mods but fell in love with the U version and as the U1 looks similar and has the needed stuff it was my pick will admit the G version looks neat as well :)

    How you getting on with the bike 10 months on.... what's the mpg like and how well does it sit at 70mph on the duel roads....
    Moonrakers on Oak Street should be getting more in soon and I like the look of the g1 and the adventure version like this u1...
    Smart colours nice looks and seams to have the most torque out of all 125cc...
    Apologies for all the questions and thanks for the post... Nice to hear a Norfolk accent...

    Nice looking bike but i think the G2 is more my style only because id have issues getting my leg over the back end seems quite high. And I suffer with sciatica and muscle weakness on my left side.. But i ride a Honda Varadero now which is a big 125.

      The only issues I have with mine which is a U is the number plate hanger. The mount gets in the way of the chain a bit for maintainence and uses the threaded holes needed for the bobbins for a paddock stand. I'm looking a fitting the one off the U1 this way I don't void the warranty. The other niggle is there are no hook on points for strapping down anything on the pillion and I'm not fitting a rack it's not a CBF. And that's is it. Oh one other thing is I'm not getting enough time to ride lol.

    Hi great video,can I ask how much is your insurance on this bike

    • @Mean-bj8wp
      @Mean-bj8wp  3 роки тому +1

      I'm with MCE I have a clean licence, it's £34 a month which was about £285 if I paid the year in full that's with 2 years NCD and I'm 46. However afterwards Lexham quoted me £184 a year. The bike is parked in a shared car park locked with a insurance approved alarmed disc lock plus another massive lock and covered and I live in a low crime area. All insurance is based on an individual basis so my price is meaningless to anyone else.

      If you can I recommend going to a dealer and having a real close look get right into it. I've had the bike since December and ridden through all weathers. It's been caked in dirt and muck off the roads and salt and crap from the gritting and there's no rust not anywhere. So apart from being cheap with stunning looks and brilliant to ride its built properly with quality materials. I highly recommend the Zontes ZT125-U, ZT125-U1 and ZT125-G1 they're all equally as good.

    • @Mean-bj8wp
      @Mean-bj8wp  3 роки тому +1

      It's a lead for a Oxford oximiser the sort of thing you use when a bike don't get used like in winter to keep the battery tip top. My dealer fits the lead to the U and U1 models as they are totally keyless as the seat lock is keyless as well. It makes things easier if the battery dies.

    • @Mean-bj8wp
      @Mean-bj8wp  3 роки тому +1

      The ABS light goes off when you start moving after starting the bike. Yes I had the air intake temperature fault P0111 and I was the 1st in the UK to bring it to zontes attention. Zontes under warranty replaced the ECU with anew one mapped for colder weather and all is good. I may add that even thought there was a fault it on now way causes any damage to the engine it's simply a software issue with the ECU.

Last question if you don’t mind. I’ve just passed my CBT and the G1 will be my first ever bike. I noticed you have L plates on the back but not front. Basically from behind I look OK to a cop, and no cop is going to turn around just for a missing L plate on the front. Basically I ride sensibly in built up areas as everyone should where you're most likely to see a cop and keep the fun to the country road's. Never been pulled for a L plate. I will be doing more vids when I get a helmet cam as doing it on my phone is awkward.
