One of my closest friends passed away 3 weeks ago from cancer, we were fortunate enough to spend his last weekend away together on a beautiful fishing farm. The day after his passing i went to collect some of his bedding we had forgotten there. As I was driving there this song started playing on the radio and brought me to tears..my friends name was David.

My mum and I went through extremely hard life traumas through the divorce through the divorce of my mum and father in the 70s with such a big event it hit the main tabloid papers and the main TV news channels on BBC1 and ITV and long-term my mum had a mental breakdown and I had to go into long-term foster care luckily I absolutely brilliant foster parents but my mum had this record whenever I hear it it always reminds me of her and I am in contact with my mum now and I have been since my 30s and now I'm nearly 50 whenever I hear this song it's my mum's song

RIP Dad 🙏 you’re always on our minds.
I first heard this song on October 2023 and I enjoyed it but my grandparents’ house dog died and I was told that later on the last day of December 2023 and later this month, my cousins’ dog died as well but idk when they both died, I was so sad and i felt more guilty when I haven’t noticed yet until someone will tell me, this song will always cheer me up. ❤️
