Hi Rod, just fyi, because of my mobility issues (imbalance a little bit) my grandson got me a pair of these for Christmas. They are the only shoe I’ve worn since then except for heavy duty (think 20” chainsaw, typhoon cleanup type yardwork. I use steel toes for that). But I do try to walk a couple of miles a day, on the beach, sidewalks, malls etc.. these have performed better for my diabetic feet than any shoe I’ve ever owned. I wouldn’t try sports in them but for everyday do pretty much anything wear, they’ve been a blessing. Just my experience with them.
Nice. Did you get regular width and size you normally wear ?
Thank you 👏. By the way, love your carpet!
I'm very happy with my Skechers slip ins. I don't have a single downside to them. I didn't order wide because that was unnecessary. I didn't want to have to sit down or bend over to put shoes on. I've done yard work, walked around stores while wearing them and they're comfortable
Nice yes wide does make it very easy to slip in!
After trying more slip-ins since my previous comment, I found that though I usually wear wide, the wide heel is what keeps it from securing my foot. Solution: they have "relaxed fit" models, and in medium width they have a wide forefoot while having a medium heel. These fit much better for me, nice & snug. YMMV.
Thank you for the review. I was going to buy them. But when the weather is good I walk six blocks both ways .
Love mine. My Steel Toe work boots were brutal on my feet. My feet hurt so bad I was almost in tears just walking across the parking lot. After about 6 weeks with my slip in skechers, my calluses and my corns on my feet are almost gone. My feet are healing and feeling better and better.
Wow nice. I am about ready to get a second pair!
thank you for good review, will be getting a pair
I agree with your con for these (based on slip-in loafers I recently got). Despite a tight fit lengthwise, my heel slips as I walk, causing my foot & shoe to clap like sandals. The heel counter doesn't lock my heel in place, despite my toes pressing against the front. The pad that sticks out above the heel counter may be keeping my heel from resting firmly against the counter. These are only good for casual use around the house, as I'm not wearing these clappy shoes in public.
We all need these!!
I walk in mine about 2-4 miles at a time and they are very comfortable.
Mine are as well for very even surfaces. If gravel, or rocks, etc. I feel better with lace ups for some reason. They seem more stable. Thanks for the feedback.
As I have a pair of these I say they are very snug around the foot but loose around the heal so not as comfortable as other sketchers or hands free shoes. Actually I found kiziks to be the most comfortable hands free shoes. I also found zeba to be the most durable. I am actually working on my own video for these. It is on my random reviews channel. Maybe I should have commented with that account so you could find my video when I make it. I am still working on it though .
Ok please keep us posted
Some people consider these a rip off of kiziks or zeba shoes. I own all 3 brands and am comparing them.
They look nice, as for the fit, and that's what I was thinking that they would have a loose fit cause there Slip Ins
Yup ! 👍
If they feel like too loose of a fit, the simple solution is to get a pair of a smaller size.
@@davidlynch1874 Also don’t get Wide shoes.
they're*
I bought a pair a couple of months ago and have been very pleased with them, nice snug fit and very comfortable to walk in, but already I’m noticing the curved area inside the back of the shoe is beginning to break down and I’m feeling that in the back of my heel the beginnings of a blister so now I have to put a plaster on my heel to protect it, I think if I had only used a shoe horn each time I’m putting them on, maybe that would have prevented it, I’m just disappointed after paying €100 that the life of the shoe is diminished so soon, just in that spot while the rest of the shoe is fine, I bought a pair of heel grips in the chemist but I can’t use them in these shoes because of the quite steep curve in the heel, I may buy another pair as I will be getting a total hip replacement and need this type of shoe but in future will use my extendable shoe horn to put them on and maybe even take them off
Yikes! Thank you for the post. Mine are “okay” so far!
@@StuffYouShouldKnow1I remember wearing this slip ins work 👞 for the warehouse and they’re very comfortable and relaxed fit toe box.
Wow, $45 including tax in the U.S. at present
I have a pair and at first I found them very comfortable. I love the soft sole. Now after about 4 months the body seems to have loosened up and they are on the verge of being too wide. Plus, periodically, I seem to almost trip while wearing them- I have to catch myself before tripping. These will be on my back shelf soon.
@@ranns2805 Wow, interesting. thank you, I only wear mine on short trips - not much walking. The support is not like a lace up shoe.
Did your heels slip up and down as you walked in them? I have a very narrow heel. Maybe I should just stick with my shoe horn?
With the wide Sketchers the may slip a little. If you a narrow foot. Maybe so.
How to get
How's Durability? planning to buy merrell but skechers are stylish.
So far very durable. I wear them on the weekends.
I have a badly broken arm. I bought these shoes & have been frustrated because I’m really fighting to get them on. They don’t just slip on for me. Then I realized, for some reason it doesn’t seem to work if you put them on while sitting. I haven’t tried standing yet. I’m a little apprehensive because my balance is bad & PT says put shoes in sitting.
Yikes sorry to hear about your arm. Yes, I have to put a little weight in my to make it work.
I put mine on while standing up. They slip on and off easily.
Hold onto the washing machine for balance while you're standing. Mine are in my laundry room by the garage door. Have a nice day. Hope you're feeling better 😊
Perfect for pregnancy ❤
Good Luck! 👍🍀
Thought this was a review of the Skechers, not the Teva slippers???
Did you watch the wrong video?
Everything from Sketchers is either wide or relaxed fit. Tough to get a proper fit if you wear a medium.😳
Concur.
I guess that there aren’t many medium fits when it comes to trainers ‘ Let’s face it Skechers are on a winner with this Trainer !! My local Skechers Store have to restock all the time Owning to the demand for these Slip-ins 🤷🏼♂️ 🇬🇧
Looks like Bigfoot’s shoe! Is that a size 30!
LoL 😂 ! Funny 😁
Slip ins my ass! I bought a pair and my foot does not slip in!!!!!
My foot folds the ankle portion in... Built in shoe horn my ass
Yikes!
The worst idea ever!!!! This world and time is determined to have a generation of ignorant kids! Now they don't even want to take the time to teach a child to tie there shoes! Wow
Ha Ha Didn’t know they made them for kids! … Yet. But you may have given them an idea! Yikes !!!
@@StuffYouShouldKnow1 Yes.... they do make them for kids. They have a whole commercial!
It may not be good for kids. But they are good for older adults and fat people who have trouble bending down.
Their shoes, not there shoes. Maybe a generation that can spell would be a good start. 7:50
I’m not a huge fan to tie my 👟.
