Did you get any alerts for tail lamps out on your dash after the change?
How much are these led tail lights and where did you buy them? Do you have a link?
I have a jl rubicon with stock halogen lights. Did not get the led package. Can I just plug these in on mine without flashing the pc? I know if I replace the fronts I have to flash the pc and tell it that I’m using the leds now. Also, I don’t have the blind spot package.
Great, very well explained. Can you do the same for the daytime running and front lights? I want to switch all my halogen bubls to led, this would be so helpful.

The stock taillights with the led package came with blind spot monitoring, know that you added it do you have the blind spot monitoring ?

So it seems I can do the same on my gladiator , I have the basic ones because I have the sport . So you mean I can put the led gladiator rubicon taillights on mine ?
I want to know this also or if you have to use a taser to make it not hyperflash

I was interested mainly in seeing the difference with the lighting since that’s what most (meaning all) vehicles are equipped with taillights for. Filming them in direct sunlight is rather pointless.
Do i need to flash my jeep if i replace my halogen tail lights to led?
nop... you have to if you replace the front ones... so the halo turns on. The tail lights doesn't have a day light modo so they are works just like the ones at the rubicon or sahara .
Cool, I already got it on my Jl sport s 2018 but want to upgrade to led front light like on rubicon, do you know is same easy install?

nope. They are different bodies from the new JLs

I installed them on my 2020 Willys and right tail light drl won't work. Didn't work, re-installed then it did. Shut off Jeep and now won't work again

Is the blind spot sensor installed too?
nitroxide91 I think that would require replacing the mirrors as well as running a wire to them since the Jeep Jl mirrors without blind spot monitoring do not have the sensor in the upper corner

@@offroadnchill Hola! yo tengo el mismo problema por que compre las luces traseras versión americana, y mi jeep lo compre en Latinoamérica. Al parecer las luces LED en este caso tienen un cable de más, por que las luces de cruce son independientes.

Personally, not a fan. Looks Renegadish. JW needs to make a JL version of their LED tails. One of the main reasons I haven't jumped on a JL yet is aftermarket support is still in the developmental stage. It's starting to get there but options are still slim.

I like the old style lights better they don't have that big tree grabber knob hanging out the side. Can I have your old ones?
