You have a great idea here. I love simplicity. I got a blank notebook that I’m going to use for my everyday to-do list etc. I’ve been keeping a daily memory journal for about four years now. I think in 2024 I will not force myself to do it daily as the past few months I’ve been neglecting it and catching up is not fun for me. I’m reading more now and I’m going to keep a reading bulletin journal. Watch lots of videos to get ideas.

You are the cutest, Tara! btw I LOVE your holy hobonichi set up so much! I've watched it twice already and am about to watch it again! I want to include all of my faith related things into my hobonichi instead of having a separate inserts for it. I find my self using my daily pages for prayer and documenting my days with God vs a traditional "dear diary." I love flipping back to previous months and seeing how God was with me - it holds more value than knowing I went to the playground last week 😂

I know! It was so hard to decide on a system! Are you going to be using a staology again or trying something different?? I really wanted try sterling ink's planner and was so close to purchasing during pre orders, but I think I wanna stay where I am at. I'm comfy in these and I know I'll actually use what I got. I figure I could always add to it later on
I love the colors/design of this year's TN and your Hobonichi cover! I am not sure what I'm going to do for 2024 yet, I wanted to do a huge Hobonichi haul, but after seeing some of the items in-store at Kinokuniya Atlanta, the price doesn't seem worth it. I dunno. I'm so conflicted about it all! And yes, I don't want empty notebooks, so trying to take a minimal approach.m
I am obsessed with the whole town theme! I think it's just beautiful and reminds me of all the pretty sketches they feature on the Travelers Times papers. I wish I could sketch like that! I am definitely embracing the minimal journals this year. I usually buy all the inserts and new items for my tns, but I figure I just need the collector pieces, I can always buy more if I need to. You know something, you are the one who opened my eyes to hobonichi - especially the avec when you made your vid. I can't live without my little hobonochi. You are right though, it is expensive and the quality doesn't really match the price. My full year hobonichi fell apart on me before the 6 month mark - probably my fault with the stickers, but still, I expected the highly praised binding to handle my basic deco. Honestly, that's kind of why I stuck to just buying the avec and not covers or anything else. Idk, the one piece cover was nice, but that leather feels like the cheapest pleather couch in big lots.
