It is! It's always nice to have extra days and extra dives in case one of them is less than ideal. But it is definitely costly here in Australia and the other liveaboard experiences I had in Asia were just next level haha
I consider the visibility there to be quite astonishing, Bernard! Here in Canada, if we have more than 20 feet, we jump around to celebrate haha. Great video by the way!
Thank you! Yeah the vis is much better than what we would get in Singapore as well haha. We would be lucky to get 3m there 😂 But we were kinda on a dream dive trip and being greedy wanting more hahaha

Could you kindly tell me what equipment you actually used underwater - was it just the GoPro for all the underwater video shots in your video? (close ups of the marine life and distant shots) Or did you use your Sony A7SIII too? Any advice on getting clear shots underwater would be appreciated as I will soon be visiting the Reef too! And did you use any lighting either for the GoPro and/or the camera? Thankyou and keep up the great work!
Thank you for watching! I was using the A7siii with the 16-35 f4 for the wider shots and the 90mm macro for the closer ones. I use the seafrogs housing (I have reviews about them on my channel) and I use big blue video dive lights. They were off for all the wide shots though. They are only on for close ups. Hope this helps!
Why so much SOFTNESS around the edges of the image underwater?... Is this the dome port? ....or the lens?... Its really bad, wow. Its like you loose 30% of the image on the outsides.

good eye for detail. It was the dome port. I think that's why they discontinued this port as well.
