I’m back and I need to get a few things off my chest I’ve been struggling with depression lately and I got a partner, lets call them A, I only said yes out of pity since they haven’t been doing so good either, I’ve had a crush on another person who we’ll call C, I’ve told my best friend (T) and he’s trying to get me out of the relationship, I hope everything just goes okay, I just want some sleep and this song resonated with me
This makes me miss those endless summers playing wild world with my friends. I miss my town. I can't even remember what I called it. It's long gone now and so are all my villagers. 🥲
Make new memories not to erase the past but add new experinces to it, that's what I concluded years ago when I too was sad that I couldn't experince the feeling of playing these games again.
To the people commenting about them being sad they'll never be able to relive those nostalgic memories You can still plenty new ones! I lost this copy more than a decade ago but the memories stayed and you know what? I bought a new cartridge and yeah, it doesn't have my save file or anything from my previous town BUT I was, and still am, making new memories. New memories not to replace the old ones, but to go hand in hand with them!
@@ManQ_ If you can get your hands on a 3DS game console since that can play DS games as well, you can soft mod the 3DS and there are currently being worked out ways to reconnect the 3DS system to play both 3DS and DS games online again. It will however take some time since this project started not too long ago but you should be able to Google 'Pretendo' and follow the project.
Just bought this game today, played for hours. Beautiful game! A bit bummed i missed this as a kid, but! Happy that this is my first time im playing so its a new and fresh experience :) its actually the first animal crossing game im playing ever! I think i made a great choice. Beautiful soundtrack as ive come to know animal crossing by.. heres to new experiences! life can still be as colorful as it used to be when we were kids :)
I had City Folk first, but went back and got Wild World shortly after, both those game made me so happy. Even though we can't stop the march of time, what memories and joy we had in these earlier games truly have left an iconic impact on me. Just wish we could have a game like this again, maybe I'm being optimistic, but maybe, if done well, we can relive it again.

This was my first animal crossing. I remember when I was seven my older brother let me be a part of his town (I put apples in the recycling bin cause I thought it was food storage. Idk why?!). When I was eight I sat on Santa's lap and asked for a DS and game of my own. My bro's town name was Del and mine was Tora (after the show Deltora Quest). My favorite villager was Nan. Now I play New Horizons. My town name is Deltora and I've got Nan. Maybe I'll dig up my old DS and acww card again. And while I'm at it re-watch Deltora Quest.

I remember listening to this song with my ex fiancee one night before I had to go away to another country for months. We hugged on the floor of our room and just cried together while we listened to the songs that helped her fall asleep at night. This song will always be magical to me and will always remind me of that farewell.

This was my first experience with animal crossing and farming games as a whole. My sister let me play it on her now faded pink 3ds that we always recorded family videos on. I always loved this theme, and always got really sad when Wolfgang would be mean to me, so I would talk to Bones instead lol. Then the game card got lost :(

Wild World improved so much since Population Growing. You can change your hairstyle, you can have an outfit that doesn’t have to have the same design as your hat, the graphics are slightly better, and much more. I love this game so frickin much.
This reminds me of playing wild world with my older sister when I was in 1st grade. She had her town, Blazey, on her pink DS, and I had mine on my OG blue DS. We'd play together in her room for hours - she'd visit my town and we'd trade fruit. I only knew how to fish, but somehow she'd master and explain to me the ins and outs of fashion design, villager friendships and the turnip market. We'd stay up late on our DSs night after night - sometimes I'd hide under her bed so dad wouldn't find me and send me to sleep in my own room. But oftentimes he'd find us just because we couldn't contain our giggling. We spread her ashes next week. Not an hour goes by where I don't think about her

This is by far the best animal crossing song. Everything is just perfect. Every instrument just uses the perfect amount of space. From the theremin sounding like synth, so subtle, to the piano playing ghost notes when arriving... Musicians taking their time, long silences, just perfect.

I got this game in grade 6, and I just started a new school that year, too. Although I played a tiny bit of the GameCube AC at a friend's in first grade, ACWW was the first in the series I owned. Grades 6 and 7 were rough for me socially. I had a few close friends, but otherwise it was difficult for me. But this game and City Folk helped me have something to be passionate about while in middle school. Now I'm 27 and I already graduated university over 4 years ago. The seemingly fast passage of time makes me melancholic, but I can always remember the times I had with this series.
My favorite song in the whole series, even narrowly beats out all the music for New Leaf. I used to go to sleep to this title screen music, the specific crackle from the DS sound chip made it all the better. I won't quite have a nostalgic hit others get from this, because there was never a significant amount time between sessions of playing this game, (Because of emulators) hell I just started a new file like a month ago.
