Is this the room you were building with your 4066R it turned out GREAT, I love the garage doors to bring the outside in yet you can close them enough to keep out driving rain or snow. 🙌
Do you think this would work better in an outdoor covered space ? Would like an outdoor patio area protected by a roof. Would love to do this in center of that space. Would think a smaller diameter insulated flue would help the draft become established and not require a fan.
I gave a dimensioned drawing to these guys, and they made it for me. They are local, so I was able to pick it up. northernfabricators.com You'll need the fan on top of the chimney, and if I had it to do over again, I would have made it so the height is adjustable. I can't see people sitting across from me, so sometimes I would like it higher, but I would like it lower when the smoke is escaping. A larger diameter would have helped as well. My pit is 30", and the hood is 36". I wish it was at least 48" or a little more.

Yup, that's the room! I have some more construction videos but they'll take a lot of editing so I haven't posted them yet.

On a day without wind, it would be great, but if you have any cross wind the smoke will blow out
Where did you get the suspended chimney hood?
