He "appeared" while I still in Galloper's Keep, except he wasn't. I kept hearing his yells of frustration that you hear when you escape from him which had me confused for a bit. I was in the Dungeons and Pumpkins game when the game registered that he was there xD I somehow escaped from him in that mini game while not seeing a single inch of him. I accidentally cheated 😂
I was afk at fort pinta when he appeared, and I got back on JUST IN TIME. He almost caught me but I managed to escape. My heart was RACING the entire time 😨😱 Edit: and I was on a low level horse so that made it even scarier

I was in the middle of the Bramble Gorge race at Dundull and thankfully I escaped him since I know the race well. Super fun! I love that they added this.
The first time I did this, I tried to get out of the galloper’s keep and it glitched, everyone’s rode a ghost horse, my horse didn’t move and I couldn’t see him, I thought it was the quest 😂😂 So thank you !

I was doing archeology in epona and then he showed up but luckily I escaped... I almost fell out of my chair when he showed up lol and the sounds he makes 👻👻👻

I think my game is glitching. My screen is always shadowed around the edges and is always raining, but it’s still sunny out. I got caught by the headless guy and was transported to Moorland and the ground was blacked out and creepy music was playing. I couldn’t see the road or anything. Has anyone else had these problems?
I went to jaspers farm from gallopers keep and he appeared immediately.. the problem with that is it was while I was watching the cut scene of jaspers pumpkins coming to life so I couldn’t even move! 😭 like the dream when you are running but not moving!
I just found this video today and I was standing there waiting for him to show up and he did I ran and had to do a tight turn and I went to run up the bridge from new hillcrest to south hoof and my horse got stuck and the mission ended when I got stuck and galloper Thompson’s horse’s nose was touch my horse’s tail

hey do you know about that tower in the galloper's keep? it is off to the far right when you enter where the halloween even takes place. is there something special about that tower? i can't get in.
If you mean the one that's on the separate island where you can do the "Dungeons and Pumpkins" race then that was used for a quest the previous Halloween :)

I would imagine it's like with every other quest, so it will disappear once you log off. I haven't tried though so I could be wrong

no, but of course a faster horse will make it easier to escape from him 😀

It depends, it once took me over 20 min for him to appear but most often it's been maybe between 10-15 min

You can only get to Gallopers Keep during the Halloween event 😊
