I got a notebook and started over, taking notes and writing down your listing of curiosity points to study. I enjoy reading the bible at the same time as listening to you read, it helps me with the pronunciation and if we both mess it up, then so much the better, and if you get it right then awesome, You helped me again and again. I've been a saved Christian for a while but never read the bible. We recently changed churches now is the perfect time for this study and how we read the bible chapter by chapter is going to be awesome. I notice the next book of the Bible you are doing is Acts, will you go back and do the other Gospels or are they for us to do on our own? I'm enjoying this series reading and studying with You, thank You Kaela!

My husband is a morning person and I am an evening person, so we usually do not get to read Bible or pray together...
Where did we see it was 3 wise men? Was it because of 3 gifts? I also remember from another study the gifts given were meaningful for Jesus - the oil for his anointing by Mary and the spices for burial
That is such a good question. There are some historical accounts and studies you can look into, what the "wise men's" actual profession was, some historical accounts even tell of their names. The Bible specifically doesn't clarify so I think you're on the same track with the 3 gifts often being what people see as an indication at first.

I think that the frequency of dreams in this age was because it was before the Holy Spirit era. Dreams were a major way of communication before Christ and the Holy Spirit.
I get upset with some people also when I tell them how important it is to read the bible to really know who God is. They say, "I don't understand it" You have to WANT to understand it and pray, the Holy Spirit with lead you and help you understand.
I used to get upset with people as a personal trainer thinking, 'You just have to WANT TO eat healthy and exercise"... I learned it's not just that ❤ Our lives, our experiences, they often shape our minds and our decisions and actions. Let's pray for the Holy Spirit to do what He does in the hearts of ourselves and others. 🙏🏻 I pray these videos are helping some of those who have had the WANT TO but still haven't taken the steps 🙏🏻☺

It says "On coming to the House and saw the child with his mother Mary. If you note it says "house" not manger and it states " child"not baby that means it took a while for the magi to get there, maybe a year or two.???

Sometimes I catch myself afterward, or while editing and think 'Oh I said that wrong' - but I have desired to be really honest with how I spend time with God and that often means more research afterward, and always seeing something fresh no matter how many times I've read or thought I studied it ☺️

What a great curious question! As you do some searching, look into what the prophets said about The Messiah being born (remembering the people of that time and what they believed), even check out the other Gospels of who Jesus is, who sent Him, why He is there, the trinity (which is often hard to understand).🕵🏼♀☺

We’re there 3 wise men or more than 3. The passage says”some wise men”. It does not say how many.

Joseph was told to go back to Israel. Was afraid to go to Galilee and ended up in Nazareth. Which is exactly where he was supposed to go.

A curious question! I noticed “house” rather than “manger” was used. Why?
that is a great curious question. Looking at different translations of the Bible may help with this
But Herod, and his wise men did not see the star, so 🤷 were these wise men more wise or was the kings eyes closed.

If jesus wants all to Worship God the Father as he told Satan in Matthew4 and many others why did The Magi’s from the East Worship him?
