- This is my FIA Hill Climb Masters Race 2018 Highlights video held in Gubbio, Italy. This event that takes place every two years in different countries has finally arrived in Italy and brings together the strongest European specialty drivers for an adrenaline weekend. Simone Faggioli, Christian Merli, Petit Sebastien, Domenico Scola, Marcel Steiner are just some of the big names that took part in the event on the 3,310 meters that lead from Gubbio to Modenna Della Cima.

Questo il mio Highlights video della FIA Hill Climb Masters Race 2018 svoltasi finalmente a Gubbio. Questo evento che si svolge ogni due anni in paesi differenti è finalmente approdato in Italia e raggruppa i più forti piloti Europei di specialità per un weekend adrenalinico. Simone Faggioli, Christian Merli, Petit Sebastien, Domenico Scola, Marcel Steiner sono solo alcuni dei grandi nomi che hanno preso parte all'vento sui 3.310 metri che da Gubbio portano a Modenna della Cima.

Since I'm super interested on visiting one of these events in the future, could anybody tell me where and when the next hill climb event is gonna take place in Italy?
You can search for European Championship races by searching for the "Hill Climb Masters Race" calendar. To know about events taking place in Italy, I recommend these websites: www.iltornante.it & www.cronoscalate.it

@@skyline390 This morning I was at the workshop of an Italian Hillclimb champion. Therefore, I can tell you with certainty that the next European and international competition called "FIA Hill Climb Masters" will take place from 8 to 10 November in Braga in Portugal: www.fia.com/events/hill-climb-masters/season-2021/fia-hill-climb-masters

They're funny looking things, 7:02 and 9:18; look like shrunken Group C cars.
7:02 it's a BRC BR49-Kawasaki and 9:18 it's a BEC BR53-Suzuki
I'd love to see a Group C car in this, wouldn't you?
Oh yes, sure, but I think they are too big and heavy, certainly less manageable than the sports prototypes like Norma and Osella that use the European champions. Group C is good on the track but not on mountain roads 😉
@@Italiansupercarvideo the ground effect would make them insanely fast! I dont think its size that keeps them under lock and key , I think its the fact most group C cars are worth $million plus or more, expensive repair bill if it went wrong!
@@TheMadmagik True what you say but I also think they are too big to handle on hill climb roads. Last week I filmed them in Imola, if you check in my recent videos you will find it. They are extraordinary cars but not agile for something that is not the track and big circuits. Sure would be a dream to see one in the hill climbs 😉👍
@@Italiansupercarvideo it did occur to me last night that the bumps in the road would kill the ground effect they rely on and make them very unstable.
