Slalom Predappio-Rocca delle Caminate 2024 Highlights - Fiat Uno Turbo, Lancia Delta, Ape Proto, etc

- Great success for the 2024 edition of the Predappio-Rocca delle Caminate hillclimb slalom, which saw the presence of 150 starters. After a first test run, two timed races took place in succession, and Daniele Giannini triumphed in the final overall classification with his Radical SR3. Second place went to Luca Mazzarri, driving the Proto 1.0, and Danny Fantini took the third step of the podium driving a Proto 1.0 too. The race is part of the 2024 Coppa di Romagna calendar made up of 7 stages and saw the presence, as always, of a large variety of vehicles, from small Fiat 500s, Abarth A112s and Peugeot 106s, to rally cars, Ape Protos, Formula, KartCross and prototypes designed for this type of racing. Congrats to the organization for an immaculate and well-kept track, with the grass cut to allow spectators to position themselves on the most beautiful hairpin bends. Grande successo per l'edizione 2024 dello slalom in salita Predappio-Rocca delle Caminate che ha visto la presenza di ben 150 partenti al via. Dopo una prima manche di prova si sono svolte in successione due corse cronometrate che hanno visto trionfare, nella classifica assolua finale, Daniele Giannini con la sua Radical SR3. Secondo posto per Luca Mazzarri alla guida del Proto 1.0 e sul terzo gradino del podio è salito Danny Fantini anche lui alla guida di Proto 1.0. La gara fa parte del calendario Coppa di Romagna 2024 formato da 7 tappe ed ha visto la presenza, come sempre, di una grande varietà di veicoli, dalle piccole Fiat 500, Abarth A112 e Peugeot 106, alle vetture da rally, Ape Proto, formulini, KartCross e veri prototipi studiati per questo genere di corse. Devo fare i complimenti all'organizzazione per un tracciato molto pulito e curato, con l'erba tagliata per consentire agli spettatori di posizionarsi sui tornanti più belli.

I haven't had time to check that little Fiat 126, but I don't think the green colour was chosen by chance, and I'm pretty sure it has a Kawasaki engine 😉
