Having had 5 kids, I know how much time they can occupy. And it's the best time. And like you have said, it's hard to keep the creative flow going with what to do next. I've suffered from creative block for a while now..... Look forward to whatever you plan for the future!
what i would have found good would be more tutorials on vegas effects as there are really not many vegas effects tutorials out there, lots of people don't even know it exists so while almost everything is already documented on vegas pro, the vegas effects tutorials really are what sets you apart because you're part of the only ones making tutorials on it
@@ScrapyardFilms ngl I'd even pay for a good tutorial series on vegas effects because the software is a great non subscription alternative to after effects but it's very confusing for beginners personally my main focus to use it isn't really editing videos with special effects but more creating animated music videos out of images with sometimes some basic 3D backgrounds (like TVs where some images would be projected on the screen etc)
Thanks for your good work. Last year, I switched to Premiere. I grew tired of all the program lockups with the last few versions of Vegas. It's a shame since I had been using Vegas since version 1.0. Good luck in the future.

great stuff, really looking ford to any info & tutorials you'll have with the up coming Vegas Pro 20... Really hoping they can give more rasio options for 5K and up cos at the moment it only give one option, can't even render 5k in 16:9 atm... Thats terrible!!
Thanks SMB. I'll definitely make some when I can. As for your resolution rendering question. The only natural 5k and 8k rendering methods are HEVC and they do both of them in 16:9 aspect ratio. But the real secret is to use Voukoder! That lets you render in many, many different codecs, profiles, and containers for any resolution that you set your project properties to! So if you wanted 5k ProRes or 5k AVC or anything, Voukoder will let your render in it.
I've slowed down a lot on answering questions as the community has really done a fantastic job becoming self-sustaining. I'll still be on there and will still respond to questions I see as well as direct messages.
