Wow, this brand of rugby is outrageously different from todays modern game. Whether you like it or not, pod formations add a certain level of clarity to attack, although sometimes they are predictable. I’m not saying ones better than the other but it’s interesting.
Yesterday I watched that 100th test match and I'm struck by how different the enforcement of the rules is. Some of the rules are different, too, but mostly I think it's enforcement. I like it better this way.
Great game, “Like thieves in the night”! 😂 The mighty All Blacks never say die attitude - wow. Felt for John Smit in is 100th Test - but that’s sports for you.

Nah, SA were totally in it until the last 10. They played a great game, awesome defence and some great attacking moves as well. I felt sorry for the centurion, but not for the team. They played well, just not well enough. I've never much liked SA's type of play, though. It's a game, not war. I particularly don't like their current approach of having someone stand to the side of a ruck so they block any charge down on the kicker. That should be obstruction, but no ref blows them up on it.

Have you guys seen or heard Israel Dagg’s account in the locker room on that winning try? Nonu, a few other teammates and coaches didn’t like how he was celebrating before he scored.
Never heard of it till now. It’s true, you should never celebrate before scoring - but Dagg was 21, the win seemed improbable before that, and it was in front of 98,000 fans in South Africa… so I don’t blame Dagg for prematurely celebrating haha 😂
