Actually her eyebrows are the thing that makes her face so distinctive and draw even more attention to those eyes. Her dark hair, eyelashes and brows with her relatively fair skin are very dramatic, too. I'd say it's a very good thing she doesn't look like everyone else ^-^
@777dasar That persona is quite perfectly maintained as shown, with her eyebrows deliberately intact. What it detracts from is YOUR idea of what her persona should be. It's her body, her resources, and her choice, and it certainly doesn't prevent her working or being broadly admired as beautiful, even perfect. I'd rather have a diverse beauty ideal centered around health and see it all around me than define it into a narrow, plastic, artificial template into which people have to squeeze.
I've not seen this movie it's now on my list to see! Question is Imogen part of the soundtrack or did you put this together, it totally works..... I've been a fan of Imogens for years! :)

@cwicseolformask yeah but that rafting trip I took as a kid is burned into my memory. The tour guide was one of those "natural" women....granola girl I guess. She was hairy and SMELLY like a goat. I think there is a good compromise! I betcha Imogen keeps everything in order. LOL
It's about a woman who gets cheated out of her family's house because she owed $500 in taxes and the strife between her and the family that buys the house at auction. Don't watch if you don't like sad movies.
Once more I have a comment some people might disagree with but doesn't this song when she sings slowly and draws out her voice sound similar to Robert Pattinson's style of singing? Just a thought I thought I'd put out there.
@pbunyon2002 Y'know, that sounds a lot like a trailer to a crappy comedy a few years back... My criteria were "clean, healthy, [and] natural" - going unwashed and smelly isn't exactly a prescription for health. But whether a woman is hairy probably oughtn't concern you any more than whether a man is. We might like our partners a specific way - shaven legs or beards - and that's fine. But people seem to unquestioningly accept men's bodies to be for living in, and women's just for looking at.

Rest assured it was just a bad run of luck. I hope you can find hapiness even if I sacrifice the next response so you are left with some level of credibility.

I don't like people, male or female, reduced to whether they're attractive by someone else's arbitrary standard. We, as humans, are far more than that, far more valuable than our ability to conform. When people speak poorly of other people - but especially when men so commonly speak poorly of women - based on appearances, it is repulsive.

But I still disagree - we people, and we ladies especially, do not exist for your seeing or smelling, whether you enjoy it or not. We do what we do for ourselves. Besides, apparently, a milquetoast (I'd think sticking to my guns on this issue disqualified me!), I'm one o'them "natural" women myself... don't get any notions that we can't be gorgeous.
