@@cptmorgan4183 Get up to see the sun rise. For me just watching the sun light up the world guarantees a good day ahead, makes me feel like I am first in line for the day ahead
As I'm on my phone taking a dump, I read a comment left by another lazy guy taking a dump on his phone who addresses the video that shows a lazy dude on his phone taking a dump. Edit: 4 months later, mind you.
This video came at a good time for me. Depression has hit me unexpectedly and I have become slow, stiff and extremely unproductive in everything. Thanks dudes 💪💪
I was unemployed for close to a year, and with the gyms closing, it was hard to keep my previous routine where healthy food, sleep and exercise were my life's foundations. I made an effort to make time for these because I knew how it felt to not have them. During lockdown and without he routine of going to work and gym, I had to change my routine again and learn to love how to work out at home. Then I got a job and in just one week and with getting used to working from home, I started to wake up later and snack too much. After one week I felt so much like shit, it was the wake up call I needed. I'm back to waking up at 6, put my workout before work and counting my calories. I need this to feel good and work well
The self positive reinforcement is probably the most overlooked habit. Whenever you finish a big task, you have to pause and reflect and acknowledge the effort you put into it. Most of us think "Oh, I had to do that anyway therefore I don't deserve praise", but you worked hard so give yourself credit.
Looove this video and the "Ball" analogy because it's so true. Right now, I'm working full time, in graduate school full time, working on my fitness, and family obligations and taking care of the huge responsibilities first has been the easiest and fastest way to stay productive and motivated. Just 3 years ago, I blamed my shortcomings on everything under the sun until I switched my priorities. Great video!
I was literally like this today. Before I watched this video, I missed my 430AM alarm to get up and go to the gym. Told myself no no no I WILL get my ass up and go to the gym tomorrow. Usually I would be kicking myself that I missed it today. But instead I gave myself some positive reinforcement and feel motivated and not demotivated. Edit: Indeed went to the gym next day.
It's funny, lately I've been in both of these routines. This week I have been 100% productive and 0% lazy, and watching this video today made me feel 100% better about the rest of my productive journey. Thanks, buffdudes!
Super glad to see the whole BUFF family in this! Also, I really enjoyed laughing to all of the little tricks and lip-sync too! Thanks for a humorous and educational video.
