I would recommend it to everyone and children as it's gentle at the lowest setting. My teeth are tight together but the water gets through. Think I might get addicted to it. So easy to use. Nice review of the WP-660. I have a tiny bathroom, no counter space. Your measurements seem larger than what Waterpik states. I do Like all the features WP-660 has to offer, but considering the Cordless Advanced Water Flosser. I am not thrilled with the low water pressure comparing to the WP-660. My only option is to keep the corded flosser next to my kitchen sink. Sigh!

E D I do not have any problems with the WaterPik model. Nor did I experience or see any mold. However if there was mold inside the handle, which is possible, I never noticed it. I do prefer the H2Ofloss model that I currently own however.

What would you recommend for someone with 2 crowns supported by implants, 2 bridges supported by implants and 4 crowns from root canals? I am in my 50's and dedicated to longevity and well-being so I'll invest. At this point I am interested in a Flosser and Brush combo, good power but not too loud. I would recommend you getting a Sonicare electric toothbrush amzn.to/2JSbaUj, and a separate water flosser. Either a WaterPik or my new value favorite, H2ofloss hf-9 amzn.to/2JObYd8. The HF-9 is the quietest water flosser I've heard. It's the one I use.
I've never had to open my handle. Generally you would need to use a plastic spudger tool to pry open the halves of the case which have tabs inside keeping it closed.

Do any particular steps need to be taken after each use in order to keep it from getting mildew? It doesn't mention anything in the instructions, but I have seen people having issues with mildew. I assume that the unit can just be run with an empty reservoir to clear out the majority of water in the pump, tubing and wand. Thanks
I’ve not had any issues with mildew where I live. Although they don’t mention this in the user guide, I suppose you could run a mixture of white vinegar and water through the machine every so often to clean things out. You could also just submerge the handle in a similar mixture and then rinse

Mine was used for over a year and still worked fine when I replaced it with another. I replaced it because I test other oral irrigators and take whatever I was using out of service. To put it another way, I've never had one stop working because of old age, and some waterpiks have worked for over 4 years before being phased out of operation.

She might ask me whether I floss daily. I will tell her I do not floss at all but only use a WaterPik and a sonicare toothbrush. She will say “good work”.

You know how people are when they come out of a service and tell their friends and families about a place that recommends something but the friends and families usually just say not to buy it because they make money off it too. I just wanted an independent observation with no bias.

I just got one and used it the first time. It made noise but didn’t bother me. When I was a kid we had one. That was LOUD.
