Those rosemary croutons are awesome...so FLUFFY and not rock-hard like most croutons....love to dip them in hummus!
Omg you did it. That other Trader Joe’s must watch you like a hawk, because I do it all the time. I make TikToks in there 😅😂. Good stuff. Those corn ribs look good. I’ve heard some good things about that feta. The tikka masala is so good 🤤. So is their vegetable pad Thai. Good job 👍.
The buttery spread is great - it tastes better than butter, and the ingredients are pretty simple and natural. What I love about it is that it's softer than butter, so it's pretty spreadable right out of the fridge
It works just as well as dairy butter for vegan grilled cheese. I love it.
I don't go to Trader Joe's often but it looks like they have quite a good selection of vegan stuff, and clearly marked👍 I'm interested in trying that feta so I may have to check out my local store and see if they are carrying it. Glad you were able to film without any problems🙂🌱
Omg, i am eating the chickpea kale and crispy red rice salad right now. It's pretty mild in taste but i always get it, i really like the crispy red rice in there! If you haven't seen/tried their vegan cashew ravioli, those are really delish too! There was another vegan ice cream, the boba one i saw in the background you might have missed. TJ is one of my go to places, thanks for showcasing your picks!!
The ravioli is the best!! I like it better than the Kite Hill ravioli, and at half the price of KH, you can’t beat it :)

The vegan feta is Bomb!! Crumble small with tiny chunks of tomato and cucumber. Add a little olive oil, balsamic and Italian seasoning to make a dip for pita. SOOO GOOD!!

Great video Chris! I tried the wrap, soup, spring rolls, and feta cheese...pretty good. definitely checking out some of those other items at my local TJ T this weekend. I hope I can find the sour cream, they never seem to have it when I go.

One thing he didn't mention is a vegan onion dip (or maybe they call it an onion spread) that TJs sells. It has an INTENSE, delicious onion-y flavor. Obviously I like it when vegan foods are actually better than their non-vegan counterparts, and that would be one.

I have very much been missing these videos of you showing the items in the stores. I have to tell you, several years ago I bought your cook book but it was the last one and it was in German. At the time, unfortunately, I didn’t understand or speak German. This past November, I took a trip to Germany to see my sister and then traveled to Switzerland. From then began my mission to learn German. LOL So I may be able to translate your cook book one day after all😂. Thought you might want to know that❤

I love Trader Joe's. I use to live right behind one and would literally run to their front door before they locked it for a loaf of bread. Now sadly, I live an hour drive away and have to plan it once in a great while. I always appreciate these videos.

I agree with you on the vegan enchiladas- they’re not bad and once in a blue moon I do pick them up. After baking them, I like to top them with fresh cilantro, jalepeno, and avocado. Otherwise, they’re way too “meh” if that makes sense. Haha.
I’m not a fan of the block feta- it has no flavor to me, its not salty enough, and the texture doesn’t resemble feta. If the flavor was on par, I wouldn’t care so much about the texture but having both texture and flavor not resemble feta makes me pass on it entirely. If I do want to indulge in some vegan feta, I go for the Follow Your Heart crumbles.
The croissant croutons are delicious.
I thought the Korean cinnamon pancakes were pretty delicious. I ate them with some vegan chickn tenders for a “chickn + waffles” inspired meal and i enjoyed them. :)
My absolute favorite is the Trader Joe's Vegan Korean Beefless Bulgogi - - soy based. Sooooooo goooood.
I don't go to Trader Joe's often, because I can get better produce for better prices elsewhere, but was there just today. I was very surprised that they no longer carry Miyokos and seem to have invested in their own product line.
Totally agree on the Tikka Masala! Divine! The feta tastes like plastic to me but the texture's alright, as I recall.

I work at Trader Joe’s. Have to recommend the “Korean Beefless Bulgogi.” Possibly the best meat substitute I’ve ever eaten!

That is my favorite spice blend, probably ever. I use it on so many things.
The feta cheese is fairly good. I don't know that I'd get it on a regular basis, but if you're in a hurry or something.
Those ice cream sandwiches are really good…I used to get them all the time

I like the buttery butter to bake with I feel like it must be that there is less water content vs. other alternatives. My T.J's has not had the Feta, however I do not care for the T.J brand sour cream.
Excited to see if my T.J's has more ice cream options.
I haven’t tried the TJ’s vegan feta, but I’m heading into town today and may have to pick some up. Last time I tried a new vegan feta (a couple years ago) it tasted like a foot.
My trader Joe's stopped carrying the super spinach salad it was my fav 😢

I've had the Feta & Mayo, the Feta is good but it doesnt taste like Feta its more like cream cheese. Threw away the mayo Veganaise is much better.
I didn't care for their Mayo either, I used to always buy Just Mayo (until I couldn't find it any more), now I buy Hellmann's.
Unfortunately all our cheese alternatives in the UK are made from coconut oil etc I've still to find a vegan cheese made from anything else
Feta is good
That vegan mayo tastes like Elmer's glue smells, I could not stomach it. Nothing can beat follow your heart or straight hummus.
Some of these items I could only dream about eating.I live in a food desert for vegans😞

No Sprouts here. I did a video there years ago but seem to have lost the footage.

It looks like you are off the whole plant diet. any changes in your blood work as a result? I see a lot of sugar added to those items.
I've been off that for years. I only ever stuck to that 100% for a short while. I am health conscious though and limit the junk foods.
Are those organic bananas or non-organic? I was under the impression that non-organic bananas were sprayed with a pesticide containing crab shells, thereby making them not vegan. Is this accurate?
That could be the case, I am not sure, but most people don't eat the peel.
Can't answer for this one, but my local TJ's has both vegan and non-vegan bananas.
That tikka masala grossed me out, the texture was WEIRD. it bums me out that they still have that years later but continue to discontinue things I loved and bought regularly.
I wish they had some gluten-free vegan wraps.

I don't get why Trader Joes would care that someone is filming, basically advertising for them for free, knowing it's going on the internet to inform people about their products. Seems like they should be paying you.
I heard that people film in stores to case them out before robbing or boosting food.

I wondered that too, I thought maybe they had changed the recipe. I'll have to check next time I'm there. The cheddar slices at least say vegan on the front!
the mozzerella shown in the video is dairy-free and vegan.
however, TJs does carry some almond-based mozzerella that is 99% lactose free or something but it still contains milk, its very odd.
Yeah, I know. I didn't feature it. I talk about it in another video and to be careful not to accidentally get it just because it says non-dairy. They also have a "guilt-free" mac n cheese that is anything but guilt-free.
Thank you for the warning. I bought the non vegan non dairy mozz and it was very upsetting. Hopefully others won’t do the same
