I really like the button with the red thread under it. It kind of looks like a flower. I got stuck with sewing the signatures into my cover. After watching many videos, I think im ready to give it a try. Then I'll think about adding decrotive page edges ! I love yours !!
I don't have issue with what to make ...I have issue with wanting make tons of things....lol...I have so many ideas and also watch videos of ideas ..I have some journals planned and pages chosen etc but I need to totally get signatures attached etc...i did bunch of mini ones ...too...have lots stuff made ...need put all together....lol
Yes there is a trick, I struggled just like you for a long time... Put your thum or finger on top of the blue thing and push it down as you slight back or forewards.
I did indeed, get some inspiration from this video! I love the embroidery thread loops you sewed down and I never would have thought of putting texture paste through a stencil over the tangled thread on another page! Each page you worked on was interesting and hearing your thought process is always something I enjoy!💕🇨🇦
You are just so fancy! I love your whole thought process! Your artistic mind is Amazing! Genius! I would love to be nearby too and would be in a class if you were teaching!! 🫶🏻🫶🏻
Love the idea of using the texture paste over the floss! For those who don’t have a sewing machine, they can hand sew the floss onto the page, using a “couching” stitch. Fun video! Thanks for sharing. 😃❤️
Everything is so cool Luisa!!! One thing that really hit me was when you put the yellowish button down on the blue thread, I actually jumped and squealed. 😂 I’ve always told you that I love the way your brain works, and I still feel that way. You can see outcomes in your work like most people can’t. They’re not wired that way. Blessings to you Dear Soul!!!❤❤❤
LOVE the embroidery floss idea! I didn't have the right color thread/ribbon/twine for a tag, so I braided three colors of floss. Can't wait to try your technique on the bottom of a tag or around an embellishment (on the companion page)!! The lace on your German video with the eyelets is ingenious! Love your videos!
Luise, never apologizeabout emotional feelings. Your being honest, I thank you. All the gorgeous design for edge of the paper are so nice, can't wait to make some, thank you shairng.
I love your creations, talent and personality... Watching and listening to you on your videos makes me smile always and brings me so much joy..I would love to be a good friend because it would be special...you are unique!!! God bless you girl...
Here in the USA, we say pazazse!! I love that fat journal. Your pages are awesome. You really know how to think outside the box. I love that about your videos !! Ive already had to split my intended number of signatures in half. I think my favorite part of making journals is choosing the decrotive pages and assembling the signatures!!
I love all your videos. I wish we lived close to each other! I really thought the pinkish color was going to be abandoned coral, but that’s just how it seemed on my screen.
Hi Luise...I feel like we're old friends ... hahaha ... I've only found you just over a year ago. I'm behind on watching your video's ... but I'm watching this series and I love it! Thank YOU for sharing what your thought process is while you make things, the heat gun "Under" the paper to do embossing (yes - why didn't I think of that!), and soooo many other things! Your English is excellent! I find other languages very hard to learn and you do a great job. No need to ever apologize ... I would guess the majority of your US fans don't speak German. And recently I watched a video where you showed a photo of your grandparents and it is SUPER COOL that you've used their names to make your Artist name! And ... I cried with you! I sooo get it! I can come across things of my Mom's and my Grandma's and cry ... very easily. You are awesome! Thank you for being a LOVELY human!!! All my Love! Susan/Suki (I named my youngest dtr - 31 years - Sasha!)
I love to watch you sort out what you do. No plan is kinda the way I do it and my journal always look sort of mishmash. I love how you place the colors to tie everything together. ❤
Love watching you create new elements like the texture paste and thread. I was thinking a little glue under the thread so it wouldn't shift with the paste. I'm so happy it worked out. The pink turned out great!
This is so fun! I love listening to your thought process while you create. I have learned a great deal from hearing why you do or do not include something. Thank you ❤
What a beautiful edge!!!! Good use for all my embroidery thread left over from the 60's (mom's store!!) There are quite a few videos where the artist uses snippets of thread to form a nest - you can google it and find lots! I would have probably embroidered the edges! LOL!! I've seen this done with pieces of yarn too....either way looks great!!! A simple suggestion to separate your embroidery thread is to hang the look on rings!! I saw it somewhere, did it and love it. When I am working on a project I put all the colors on the ring that I am using and you don't even have to take them off the ring, just cut what is needed!!! Thanks for the great idea!
Some great ideas Luise. I love that you start off with the idea that you were going to do page edges but got pulled to another idea. I think you need to be able to follow your creative flow as it calls you.
Hello Luise, from France... Les fils de ta grand mère t'apporte une bonne inspiration. And you know what ? J'ai réussi à réparer la canette de ma machine à coudre, yes ! So, I'm not a professional... Thanks a lot for sharing, it's Always a good Time with you !
Thank you for sharing these beautiful borders and pages with us. I so enjoy watching you put them together and listening to your thought process. I like to see your creativity start and seeing it develop into even more beauty.
I really enjoy going thru your process with you. It is quite difference from the way my brain works, but I can always learn!! Thank you for these videos!
I love your little exclamation noises, sense of humor , and, of course, your style. An alternative for making the thread thingies, if they dont have sewing machine , is to tack the threads in place by slow stitching! Arohanui ehoa from me in Aotearoa New Zealand .xxx
I'm thinking you could cut the embroidery thread into sections and then sew them in. It would look similar to a tassle edge. I'm commenting when only part way thru the video but loving it so far. Sending greetings from New Zealand
Love your channel! I wonder what it would look like if you took your loops and cut them to create a fringe like the white one. Insert scissors on the loop and cut them in half to create different lengths. 🤷♀️ Just a thought.
Your machine sounds like it needs oil . In the US you can buy a small tube of sewing machine oil at fabric stores. Follow the manufacturer of your machines where to put oildirections for
I love your stuff! But I am surprised to see so many edges decorated on the right hand side of the double spread, which interferes a little with later writing. Why not put it on the left hand side of the double spread? You'd have to turn the book upside dwn to do the sewing, of course. But less interference with writing on the two pages, and not that much interference on the backside. Obviously it would be the reverse for a leftie, but you are right-handed, are you not? Just curious. Very creative ideas here!
You should never sew over glue it is not good for your sewing machine even if the glue is dry. Sew it by hand using embroidery cotton like DMC or Anchor for example.
I love you! I wish you were my neighbor. You don’t need to apologize for being emotional about your family. You are terrific!
I have to laugh when you say butterflies can solve every problem. :) You are awesome! So much fun to watch.
Thats my motto too..when in doubt ...butterfly

Hi Luise. I really like all the side pieces you’ve done today. I also appreciate how you covered the Brad on the one backside. Thanks, Luise.

I love steampunk and used grommet tape to my page, I need to go back and add a little embroidery thread dangle! Love it!❤

I love your creativity. ❤ The pages are wonderful.
Wonderful video
Love these ideas - if I had thought of them (unlikely...) I think they would go on front covers as they are so detailed. We'll done!
I Love watching you. I wish you were my new best friend! You are so fun to watch and so artistic!,,
Pizazz is a good word!
Beautiful page….wow
What inspiring ideas!
You are just brilliant!!
Love what you made 😊
Love Cahvoompf.
Beautiful edges! Since you do an English and a German video, it makes sense that you would do 2 different journals, anyway. Thanx for the great ideas!
Your designs ROCK!!! Thank you, Luise.
This is so cool. I love it!
A small blue button in the middle of the flower
Or put the brad only though the flower and glue it in place.
Watching your work is amazing. You are such a brilliant artist! Son inspiring!!!
Love it
Lots of lovely ideas, Luise! ❤
Kaboom! It means a loud explosion. Perfect word for this.😉

Thank you for the inspiration, when my crop a dial is hard to change positions I pull up on my handle, maybe that will help.
loved all of these
