Fun fact for bari players: you can read concert pitch in bass clef as if it is treble and add two flats (or take away two sharps) and you will play the same pitch. That makes it super easy to sight transpose charts like the trombones and other concert pitch instruments written in bass clef. I learned this because Eb tuba players get concert pitch charts in bass clef and do that transposition.
Having to transpose other stuff to concert pitch (I primarily read Bass Clef and Treble Clef Concert) always annoyed me but everything has its little tricks, and playing Bari stuff on trombone is super easy since it’s all in the same space with two less flats
@@solar8314 Ah, I see. The link to the bari sheet music is in the description. Bari and alto sheet music reads the same, but the bari sounds an octave lower.
Another thing is that Bass clef and Eb instruments read fairly similar, a D on alto and an F on trombone are the same pitch a and are on the same line of the staff. The main thing that changes is are accidentals. For this piece, the key signature on alto is A and not the written C, so change the key signature (and technically ignore the bass clef) and just read it straight
@@austiniteintunisia and if you want to read the sheet music in the video just read as if it was treble clef with two more flats. All the notes are in the same place on alto/bari as they are in bass clef concert
Bro thanks so much I have been trying to find this for Bari you a life saver and you killed it on trombone bro keep it up

Same goes for things like Alto
I thought it was adding 3 sharps to the bone part and change the clef to treble.
Yeah I had to do this for a bassoon part for the frozen musical at my school
yeah but its add 3 sharps/ take 3 flats
Thank you so much man. I have been looking for a decent bari transcription so I appreciate it!

Im a real Bari player (I can’t read high notes)
Its okay but definitly nothing more. Very bad tromboneplaying here.
bro u toxic imagine
I play trombone, definitely not bad trombone playing at all. You're probably god awful to be around and even worse at music.
Nah I bet he has good tone irl but just a bad recording equipment. Our trombones an trumpets play good irl but sounds shit in phone recordings.
