Instead of a subsidiary or division, GW was a 'satellite' company indenpenent of GH, established with the latter's financial and distribution support. That's why Jackie Chan often said Leonard Ho (one of the 2 founders of GH, the other is Raymond Chow) was his benefactor.
Basic: NEW LINE! Bojon: The Characters; LOL Chun Sing: Square, C, S, Square! I love that pattern! Cinema City: CCC, Yet again. Cosmopolitan: Da big city is in the house! Edko: Basically, a very first spot. Emperor: Make way for the mighty logo! Fong Ming: Does it read: HM? Also hmmm.. Golden Harvest: Ahh, No more G of doom. Golden Way: G of Doom and A star on the way! Hoventin: The domino effect. Hui's: Classical talkie time! Again... JCE: Yeah, What to film now? Jing: I totally agree the poker card! M8: You think it's not chinese? Skyhorse: Wood, Wood, Wood all 'round here! Samico: Illuminati confirmed. Wing fat: Fat wings? Both Win'ses: Musical companies in here?
My faves in this one are Basic (looks more of a Japanese logo to me), H.K. Fong Ming (whatever that is), Golden Way, Hoventin Films, JCE, Jing's Production, M8 & PCC Skyhorse (I think that's how it's spelled)
I remembered this part in the year 2010s!
Thanks so much for the fact, Dire.
Thanks for the info.

Where did Cosmopolitan Film Production Co,. Ltd Came from what movie?.
I liked the second Win's logo.
Also intristing to see it was a satellite company of Golden Harverst.
Here's the list of ripping off logos.
0:20 = New Line Cinema (2001)
4:50 = WWF Logo (1980s)
5:10 = First Release Home Entertainment (1986)
You've got quite delicate eyes Will! I often doubt if it is original.
Speacking of New line, if you listen closey to the Ocean Shorees logo, you will hear the begening of the New Line logo.
New Line logo (with music) appears firstly in 1995, while Ocean Shores has existence in Hong Kong in early 1980s... so maybe just a coincidence.
Not surprising as Golden Way was literally "spun off" from Golden Harvest as a satellite company.
robosapiencam, may I know how "tweaked" is it? mind to share?
That's the exact same thing I noticed too!!!!!
Other satellites of GH included Bo Ho (Sammo Hung) and Mobile (Chan Yau aka Friend Chan and Alfred Cheung)
Is Golden Way a divison of Golden Harvest? Because I saw the Golden Harvers logo at the bengening.

Half true. Bojon had their productions independent of GH from late 80s to mid 90s, mostly distributed by another HK theatrical circuit called Newport.
Yup, (that's what JC means!) and the other part is owned by Emperor Group (EMP/EMG)
Who was the founder of Wing Fat Film Production Company?
It's Jack of Spades =)
most of them are from old VCDs, so probably it's 25.
Who owned Bojon?
Jing's Production Limited intro features a "Jack of Clubs" in a standard 52-card deck.
Guess who... also Sammo Hung.
Actually Sammo established Bojon in 1979, then Bo Ho in 1982.
So that was also a satalite of GH.
Liu Gin-Fatt. You may search hkmdb dot com for his list of filmography as producer.
Lol there all RIP offs of each other
In logos, more higher piched.
Jackie Chan? I rember that person! I think he was also a karate expert.
Basic's logo looked simalar to New Line's.
