Cruiseshipz' Hong Kong and Cantonese Retrologos - The Remake

- First upload of 2015, and my first concerning demand for a remake of my first successful presentation of my logo series from 2008/'09. Due to the copyright claim that Fortune Star blocked my first episode of 'CHKCR', some fans asked me if I can replace the Fortune Star logo with various ones to avoid the issue, so I decided to search high and low to bring back the gems to fill the original 11-minute mark with HD logos of China's best cinematic film logos in extra 4-minutes for better viewing. Enjoy the memories!
Also, the original episode, in my Dailymotion account, is accessible for those that feel the old one is better than the new one. Feel free to see it in this link: www.dailymotion...
Finally, the music I used in the opening is credited in the beginning, so no questions asked!

Congratulations, Craig, you done it once again. Your remake is spectacular and perfect timing on a New Year's Day.No wonder your original one was removed all because of Fortune Star got in the way because of copyright, I hope Golden Harvest doesn't count, does it? Anyways, I love it a lot and plus the newest idents that I never seen ever in my life is so classic. Great job on your remake Craig and do not worry, my presentation is coming tonight, so Happy New Year, mate. ;)
11:06 Long Sun sounds awesome!
10:42 Fanfare of the opening of new Hong Kong Logos!
1:55 mandarin films, featuring a pigeon looking like Tweety of Looney Tunes fame.
A nice one Cruiseshipz! You've included some gems that I've found but haven't posted out yet (and some new to me :) )
May I know where did you find the Eng Wah ident in 10:58? You may know that it was the same company as that in 10:41. Both are rare actually and I only found the 10:41 one. Also I'm glad to see the full Oiland ident in 8:11 ^^ Carry on!
Hi, Dire! I couldn't resist finding more treasures to fill the 15-minute mark, it's really addicting. The blue Eng Wah logo I found is from 'The Call Girls' (應召名冊, 1973). Sorry that I couldn't get back to you sooner, I was busy with my break and school. Hope this help! Cheers. ^^
Just a correction: the actual company name is "Ronghua Film Co.", according to HKMDB, "Eng Wah" is just an alias.
Intergold Vizzed Just the different pronunciation in different countries, Ronghua in PRC while Eng Wah in Singapore,
Mmm... Either Ronghua/Eng Wah was actually based in Singapore, the latter Ronghua/Eng Wah logo(at 10:58) was animated in Singapore, or the company had Singapore origins, just like Shaw Bros. and Cathay Org..
