Man this gives me memories when I learned about this back in the 6th grade. My math teacher didn’t really explain her topics well and everybody often got test scores less than a maximum of 80%.

so the stem could be really anything that groups several data together right? would it be okay if the stems from example 1 are the date the calls are made? or should stems always be tens, hundreds, thousands, etc?

Sorry, i seemed to have lost track. how do you find the key?
Choose any data value and write the key. In the first example we could have used 30 and wrote a key like 3 I 0 = 30. It is just showing how to read the stem and leaf plots.

Definitely. You can use the same "stem" and have a "leaf" coming off the right and left side.

According to my online maths test the L in leaf can’t be capitalised so therefor this guy doesn’t know what he is doing.
Well he actually does, that’s just one mistake he made, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know what he’s doing
