Thank you Anthony. My son just graduated with two majors in Finance and Marketing, not bad for a child that has ADHD and dislexia. He is starting his new job in August. I thank you for the candid speech and all the valuable advise to millenials. I have been a customer from Revzilla since 2010, when I decided that it was time for me to learn how to ride a motorcycle at age 50. My son is also a motorciclist. I always tried to inspire in my children a sense of adventure and challenge and I have to say you are a sense of inspiration and comfort on young people. Leadership is part innate and part learned, you have learn well to balance that. I wish you sincerely more success, but overall that you continue finding joy in what you do and accomplish, professionally and personally. Thank you again. Clara
Thanks Clara. It's amazing the things you learn as you traverse into the unknown. It's all a big challenge with great reward. The best to your son and remind him if he's comfortable, he's not moving quick enough.
Beautiful, thought provoking, introspective speech. This video is going to my motivation playlist for days when I feel defeated. Thank you Anthony! - Faraz (Loyal customer, brand advocate and now an inspired admirer of your journey)
I was just wondering why I don’t see this Anthony guy on RevZilla anymore. Did a quick Google search and eventually found myself here. That Anthony guy was the founder of RevZilla! Thank you Anthony for all the review videos! I bought my first set of cycle gears from RevZilla thanks to these videos. Still miss your videos though the young guys are doing an amazing job.
Anthony - From a nearly 30 year executive in the retail industry I want to tell you that I’m a big fan of your company and fellow rider. Watched every minute of your speech and thought it was thoughtful and profound. Congratulations!
Having read about the starting-up phase of your company and the initial challenges to get to where Revzilla is nowadays, it makes your speech that much better. I appreciate you delving into the depths (pun intended; the dark depths) that many don't want to talk about. The throughs within the journey that make you question if it really is worth it. My gear-reviewer fedora hat goes off to you, Anthony.
@@AnthonyBucci Indeed. Your blog is full of entrepreneurial gems; it's a great read for a change as per most-other entrepreneurship blogs. Sent you an email last week to your blog's email address (blog@). Can I ask you if you received it or if there's any other way to contact you via email? Thanks!
Incredibly inspiring speech. You can tell it comes straight from the heart. I hope they were listening closely and heed your advice. Personally, I wish I had heard a speech like this and had an example like yours when I was young. Congratulations all round. Go Anthony... Go Revzilla!
One of the most informative speaker for reviews on Revzilla which I know a lot of people rely on heavily (including myself) when shopping for gear or a better understanding of the latest tech. Now I find out you were the co-founder and CEO ! ! Big thumbs up. Love your work. When will you visit Australia? A lot of respect.
+Anthony Bucci imagine riding with a legend (you of course haha) the next time you're down under ! you've helped me in my procrastination and dream of owning a lot of bike related items !
This is a speech that should be given to every entrepreneur in the world!! When I originally played cards with you guys early on in South Philly and saw your operation, including your half pipe, warehouse, retail front and the video / media production studio, I knew that you were going to be big. Then when I saw your online customer satisfaction surveys and people 10 miles from the manufacturer of product in California were buying from Revzilla, then I was positive you were going to the be the biggest of whatever you were doing. Talk to you soon
Thanks Anthony, I started a small motorcycle rental business in North Jersey, fastlanemotorcyclerentals.com, and was feeling rather overworked, overwhelmed and tired. Your keynote put it all into perspective so thanks! I really appreciate the inspiration.
Thanks for the great speech Anthony. Love the take risks, move forward and push outside the comfort zone message. Trying to apply this to my life and work so appreciate the inspiration. Love your work and business too.
Literally just got my M1 and started watching RevZilla reviews a week ago. Had no idea "Anthony from RevZilla TV" was the CEO haha. Awesome speech man!
I'm a late bloomer at it finest. Seemingly stuck in a predicament where I have only myself to blame. This is an educational one and one where I never thought about what I wanted to achieve. Going into biomedical was very exciting but at this moment it is something I cannot follow through after going halfway. Issues now with ones coming together to form a wall I do not know how to leap over. Maybe that's the issue, trying to leap instead of putting one hand over the other climbing it. I liked your speech and have only recently used Revzilla this month for the first time. I've know about it for a very long time but had my own personal connections to buy items at cost. I'm sure anyone can understand those perks. I would like to know what the core values of Zilla are and what they mean in a similar way you explained #7. Unfortunately I have discovered my "mountain" late in life. Far enough away where you can only see it on google maps or waze. People that were motivated by your speech were lucky the day they witnessed it. I am 30 and I am still trying to reach the base of my mountain. I apologize for the rambling that probably doesn't correlate much, it's 3am and I have to be up in two hours for work. I like how Revzilla is taking a few steps on the ice branching out with more media on youtube. Short but sweet first rides, impressions, and small detail highlights. There is much to improve on still and I'm glad to see you guys making progress. Gear geeks are on point and I'm going to give a shout out to Drew. I've called three times and he's always answered with impeccable advice.
I was in this graduating class, at this ceremony... This was the best commencement speech ever... I actually show up near the end of the video lol... not sure wtf I was doing 🙈
Anthony. I know you are busy. But I hope you read this message. I loved your speech! I am 27 and I've been in a stable admin job for 4 years since I graduated. I wake up every day thinking I can do more and the clock is ticking louder as I get older. I have not found my mountain but I am passionate about many things, none of which related to a career. I can't seem to figure out what to do and I have no direction. Personality wise I am the opposite of you - I listen more than I talk, I overthink everything, and I am satisfied with mediocrity. Please, tell me, how do I find my mountain?
kal1nas what are the things your passionate about? Who else shares the same passions as you and what organization or idea contributes to the furtherment of the people who share that passion? Can you join the org or execute on the idea that contributes value to that ecosystem? If its interesting and bigger than the paycheck its not settling anymore ;-)
Anthony, you've replied! I didn't even get a notification! This has made me so happy! I am pleased to say I am no longer stuck in a rut and I have taken steps to work on myself and the things I consider meaningful. I won't get into too much detail but I've recognised the things which I am passionate about - working out and staying fit and healthy, learning to code, and travelling. I will now take your advice on board and look for people/organisations which can provide the environment where my ideas can grow. I feel that these things are more worthwhile in my life than a 9-5 admin job. You have really made my day by replying, thank you so much, you are amazing!
Congrats on building a great business! Great keynote speech!
Thanks CC. Appreciate the nod.
I watched this solely because I shop at and watch Revzilla videos. Its really one of the better keynotes Ive heard.
