    Would love to see your take on an Assimilate deck, I love that archetype and I think you would come up with something really interesting with it.

      I like assimilate too. Many players hate it, but in my opinion Assimilate requires skill. Lydia got a buff too and I haven't seen it played in 2 years or so

    Another possible way to play some really solid points in Harmony is to play Quarixis with leader (preferable the turn after scenario), then the next turn play unicorn/chironex, Quar makes two Loc Feainn Convergences in one turn since they are relicts.

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  5 місяців тому

      It is but Qaurixis has a lot of trouble staying alive and Unicorn/Chironax don't trigger your Harmony. It's a reasonable alternative but I don't like it as much

      @@platinumpatrol2964 same here, I also enjoy it, I was a bit afraid there won't be enough players around but no issues with matchmaking so far. Thanks for being one on of the pillars of Gwent community and creating cool content !

      I'm not worried about the player count. I played The Elder Scrolls Legends since its release. Its support ended 4 years and I never have issues finding matches in that game even today. It had a smaller playerbase when the support ended too. I imagine it will be the same for Gwent where finding games won't be an issue.@@jaaaaaapa89

    I built a similar deck based on this video :) Veeery helpful, thanks so much!... I am thinking of putting the defender dwarf into the deck to work against control & bleeding etc. and then give it harmony with Antherion to strengthen it... What do you think about that? :D

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  3 місяці тому +1

      The defender can work, but usually it's better to strengthen other cards behind the defender instead of the defender. If they have a removal card it kind of has to go into the defender so making it bigger improves the opponent's value if they have a way to kill it.

    Im fairly new to Gwent and have been using a similar deck. How were you able to spawn a dwarf after play percival and how did your cat witcher do 2 damage instead of 1?

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  5 місяців тому +1

      Mysteries of Loc Feainn (the scenario artifact) has an effect that triggers the next two times you play a card with Harmony. The second of these is to play Convergence which spawns and plays a bronze Scoia'tael unit with a category you don't control. Playing Percival triggered the effect to play Convergence and I used that to make the Dwarf.
      Cat Witcher has the Adrenaline keyword which triggers when you get to a certain number of cards in hand. Once you do it does 2 damage instead of 1.
      I hope that helps and that you're enjoying the game!

      @@platinumpatrol2964 Thanks alot! I had no idea about mysteries. I had been playing it late in a round which probably costed me a few losses. Also I completly forgot that double poison kills a unit until I saw this video lol. I apreciate you getting back to me.

    How do you combat Sir Scratch Alot in the Force of Nature Deck? It gets replayed over and over every turn and all the units get boosted. It seems really unbeatable

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  4 місяці тому +1

      Kill or lock it. It's only at 6 power when it's replayed the 1st time so it's usually not too difficult to kill.

    How is this deck performing against the current unitless MO and several other control deck?

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  5 місяців тому

      It's not too bad in my experience. Water + Leader usually sets up enough engines to be able to do alright in my games. It is annoying to go against though

    Without using Golden Nekker what's the best combination of Relicts and Control cards you can come up with and is it worth playing?

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  5 місяців тому

      Without Nekker Renfri would probably be best, but then you're basically limited to Riptide, Toad Prince, a Geralt, and Dorregaray for control. It's usually enough for most games but if you want more control instead of Renfri you could run Ifrit and Frenzied Dao with the Rock Slides. The issue with Relicts and control is control cards (outside of Unicorn/Chironax and the Crones, which aren't quite good enough) is they don't really advance the main engines of Relicts. Having too many limits your Self-eaters and doesn't let you get Witch Apprentice going as quickly.

    That mutagenerator matchup feels stupid because both passing and giving him the carryover points feels like a bad choice.
    Do you see any sense in adding a lock to this deck? (I guess it would have to be Ciaran)

    • @platinumpatrol2964
      @platinumpatrol2964  5 місяців тому +1

      Yeah it's a situation where having Heatwave would've been good. The issue with the locks are they aren't really great cards but you can run one

      I used to until this patch. The consistency on Dana is nice but with her first form getting the nerf and Water getting the buff I took it out. I found that after going Dana + Saskia outside of the scenario there was a lack of impactful tempo plays if you also ran the unicorn. I still think its a good option though.

      If you can't remove Mutagenerator its always going to feel oppressive. That's just how the card works and why I dislike it so much. However, I think I should have played 1 more card R1 though and then tried for a R2 push instead.
