Hi Craig if you could assist I have a snappy chef sdc003 2 plate induction stove. I am a technician too. I have done a lot of troubling shooting even swopped the heating coils. The error is that the left plate don't function it shows error EE not e3 so what I did was even swop the entire boards to see if the one board was faulty. Both boards works. So now my last issue I can think of is the main touch control board. Please assist if you can
My snappy chef shows e2 error the manual said it’s faulty heat sensor that I’ve replaced but still shows e2 error after 30 seconds of heating. The fan is working fine. What could be the problem
Hi there, I'm interested in this repair as I have a snappy chef that will probably need to same repair. Where did you get the IGBT from? I'm also in South Africa, so suffering from the same restriction and delays as you do. I really appreciate your videos. Many thanks John
Hi John, The IGBT, fuse and rectifier can be sourced from RS Components. Communica is permanently out of stock. You won’t get the same voltage and amperage rating as the original IGBT, but you will get close. I have the same snappy back on my bench - the rectifier went after the latest bout of loadshedding. Cheers Craig

Hi Criag
Not sure if missed it, but would you mind putting up the first video of snappy chef mentioned?
Thanks
Riaan
Hi Riaan,
My apologies for the long delay - but I have been out of it for a while. I will look into it.
Cheers
Craig
