On TRX-4 is it better to lock differentials while wheels are rolling, stationary? Same with 2 speed transmission. 2 speed made a loud snap first time I shifted it
Mine burnt up because it started freaking out and buzzing in the "unlocked" position... Have to send it back with an RMA... Kind of sucks that i have to send it in, then wait for them to look at it before they send me a new one.

My receiver went bad replaced it but now my front diff is reversed and I can't figure out how to correct it! So frustrating! Gonna call Traxxas in tomorrow hopefully they can tell me how to fix this cause the instructions are useless. Blinking green light, WTF?

The front servo is the same, the rear isn’t. Because the rear is locking two cables at once, it has a different horn. You want both horns perpendicular on the TRX-6
Yes that is the only wire attached to the receiver. Unplug the other components like the ESC and servo and plug them into the new receiver. Stick the receiver down with double sided tape in the receiver box, and you may need to bind the transmitter and receiver. See our video on that topic and also how to properly seal the receiver box.
Traxxas RC cars have a great quality. I'm so happy with my TRX4 But the electronics are terrible bad. For the price of the products needs to come with much better electronic I have my TRX4 for two month and I already repleace the steering servo (Broken after the third use), and now 2 weeks after, the front diff lock servo. Happy with the truck Very dissapointed with the electronics.
ive had mine stock for a year now driving daily with 0 maintenance and zero broken parts i just know my shocks need oil those are dry 😂 but idk ive had no issues driving in any tempature
How can i change the direction the servo is turning? My front servo is turning in the wrong direction. Is it possible with the transmitter?

Hey, you can do it by switching the servo plugs in the receiver. Default is front-channel 4, rear - channel 5.
Working on a customer vehicle his controller, receiver fried and his diff lock in the front is backwards now with the new controller & receiver

The steering servo runs on mine TRX4 over the stops on the axel,i set up the servo to a small space.

Mine just keep clicking after you engage the diffs. Even with a brand new servo. So done with this servo bs.
Wished it was rear lock instead of front lock
You can reverse the channels, this way rear locks first.
