ever since melee, Ganondorfs dair is always one of the most scariest, threatening, hard to recover from mentally move ever.
That one had me on the edge of my seat since the spike on the second game. That was a true ganondorf vs bowser set
Really great set, agreed with TK, clicking on this I expected some Bowser combos, maybe a shield break, but got some stuff that was kinda even better, ya dont really see Ganoncide that often in tourney, its hype!
That was a really good 2nd match! It goes to prove that Super Smash Bros. 4 can have it's competitive moments like Super Smash Bros. Melee. It's simply a different game. Just takes time to learn it. A different playing style. It's sad to see that many Melee Elitists are blinded by their nostalgia glasses and refuse to try out this game.
I like tkbreezy's solo commentary, he's good at talking about the player's options, and also knows when to bring the hype

Not a bad set at all. Gonna rate the ganondorf.
Let's start out with the positives. His edgeguard game is really really good. He connects the spikes and other moves a good amount of the time.
But he relies way too much on the ledge recovery side-b. Bowser was able to pick up on that immediately and was able to space himself well.
Also, around 6:23 when ganondorf was launched, it helps to throw out a few fairs instead of just drifting to the left. You cover more distance that way. :)
HYPEST MATCH EVER HOLY SHIT
I still ask myself why is ganoncide make the opponent die first and not bowsercide? For ganoncide, the opponent can't control anything at all, and you die first. But for bowsercide, your opponent CAN control it yet bowser dies first.
Ganoncide is way more difficult to pull off since it requires you to be off stage, and the opponent at the ledge. The opponent only needs to jump and suddenly he's in the perfect position to spike Ganondorf into the K.O. In the End it bears a much greater Risk than Bowsercide.
Where i know this from? Experience by getting thirsty.
ShadowShroob|TRB|SA2600 If I understand correctly, most tournaments give the win to bowser if a match ends like this.

Makargo123 It was a tourney but pool match to be exact. Originally each pool had their 1st and 2nd seed matches on stream however in my pool Ash and Mik (1st and 2nd seed respectively) had already played their match and thus 1st and 3rd seeds from our pool would be streamed. In the end despite the 3 way tie for sets won I had lost the most individual matches (4 rounds lost) among us and drowned in pools.
That Ganon main is savage. Those wins were noice.
This is why I love Ganon

on big opponents like bowser a jab does the job the same as d tilt, which is usually reserved for smaller opponents like pikachu or kirby.
