I knew Jesse as a teenager. We went to the same private school. His wife Ezra is somewhere around. I remember her being 14 years old, Jesse was 17, he would always disappear with her. They got married. The last time we saw Jesse was in Vegas. He was a cool dude. Hung out with everyone and never judged people. He said " I'll be back" he never came back. Our gambling friends said they saw him get in a car. Ezra lived in Cali. We never heard from him again until we heard he passed from congestive heart failure and he was still with Ezra. That was over 35 years ago. This brother had it all. Ezra was beautiful. RIP Jesse. 🤭🤭🤭To you Minister Ezra.

Jesse was in his own lane. Tevin couldn't hit low tone like Jesse. His wife said he never lip sync. She said his voice was so strong and powerful that when he was in their recording studio in their basement she could hear it on the top floor. He last sang at their anniversary party in 2022 and never missed a beat. RIP Jesse.😭 Don't get me wrong Tevin Campbell has that voice. I mentioned him because people are always comparing them. Jesse's wife Ezra said if anyone wants to hear Jesse's competition play the song " wanna be closer" by Switch, wait till the very end and you will hear the similarities of Bobby DeBarge and Jesse Powell. I played it and WOW they sound exactly alike. Good eye Ezra.❤❤

She left because people were trying to clown her saying Jesse wasn't married how the hell we know. They kept clowning her saying if he's your husband why you got his age wrong and you misspelled his name. Chile she left and a few months later findagrave was put up and Jessie name was spelled just like she said and he WAS 52 years old. How many people do y'all think felt stupid. Jesse was extremely private. I knew he had a wife because she used to always come with him to the production studio and work and he would always sing to her and they both had on wedding bands so I put 2 and 2 together and minded my dam business. Celebrities want to protect their family so they put out what they want you to know. RIP Jesse.
