I'm not correcting you or anyone else. Just adding some helpful hints You can always use a size 16 needle on your machine and a heavy duty thread. In the case of hand sewing you might want to use the heavy duty thread with a larger needle with a thimble to help the fingers. I love your Ideas and I will make some using the ponytail clasp. I also love your energetic outgoing personality. Thanks for posting.

That is a great idea. Oh yeah the name of the stitch you did was a whip stitch. You did a nice job on it. BTW if you were to try to sew that on a machine a denim needle might work. It's for heavy duty fabrics.

Great tutorial, if you do make another bag like this one you should try using an oversized snap. Then sew on the inside on the clutch for a seamless finish.

To protect your fingers while sewing i use rubber thimbles! They work well when sewing hair clothes purses etc. you can buy them at any craft store but i got mine from office depot because i use them at work cuz they help with flippin pages too!

@mstay1120 i don't think a glue gun is good.maybe fabric glus is better.i say so because i tried to use a glue gun to make a bow tie and it was not flexible it was hard to bend and trust me itz not fun lol
