Hi Joseph, I have a query that might also be beneficial for others. I own a Logitech G502 gaming mouse, which features programmable buttons. I'm curious about whether you use such a mouse to enhance your efficiency in Alibre Design. Could you share your thoughts on effective time-saving strategies in Alibre, especially for a beginner like me? I'm eager to learn the best practices early on to prevent forming any counterproductive habits.
Great question! Alibre won't readily recognize your mouse, any mouse button mapping would have to be done through logitech software. Alibre options does have an interface to create custom hotkeys- I'd suggest mapping the most used functions to the left hand, so you can use your mouse and left hand at the same time. Ex machina is going to be competing in the speed modeling world championships using Alibre and he has a video on his setup for efficient use here: ua-cam.com/video/dhdIn5EBqp0/v-deo.html
I am not sure why I can't get this done ( spline min 4:45 ), it would be helpful from now on to show us the presets of your setups before creating this educational videos. I believe it is something from your setups that you skipped and that's the reason I can't get this done. splines is the most difficult to achieve and I have even the Pro version of alibre.
I appreciate your comment- the circle for the sweep was made at 2:00 and there are no cuts from that to the sweep. I don't know of any presets that exist that could prevent a spline from being made. We have a helpdesk to help people use the software, or if you can provide details as to what you are seeing it could help us understand your problem.
@@AlibreLLC At the 1.00 minute mark, the tools appear. Sorry, my autism hinders me from learning. Just expressing my frustration with software which seems foreign and totally counterintuative to an autistic like me. Cheers
How you managed to sum up most of the feature commands in roughly 5min, I will never know. Amazing overview. Keep 'em coming!
Thank you, it's an honor (and a lot of editing)
Great video. You explained it very well.
Great video! Cant wait and see what you show next
for some reason my loft and spline wont work properly and when ever I closed the software and open again works why is that I have to reset my making
This seems like an unusual issue, feel free to contact us at help@alibre.com

Ugh, frustrating. The constraints etc are not explained and I can't actaully follow and try to do these examples at all since they fail.
The constraints are explained in the next video.
Wish it was compatible on Mac 😔
We are making a migration to .net core, and once that is complete it will become possible to port to Linux and Apple. Stay tuned
!! very exciting, hopefully it is simple for the user! @@AlibreLLC
@@AlibreLLC That would be amazing! That is the only thing holding me back! Otherwise I would switch immediately away from fusion.
You didn't show how you opened the tools. Frustrated.
Which tools? At what time in the video are you having trouble?
