Definitely makes a difference to change strings … the tones are more happier and brighter with the new strings … just by giving your ukulele some TLC it perks up so much 🤭🤭😂🤣😂.. great video 🤩😁🦋
ive never changed my ukulele strings (its been 4 years and i changed 1 cus it broke when i threw it at the end of a show and it didnt land on the pillow it was supposed to land on) but i havent changed them since march 2021. i think it may be time to change soon but i have forgotten how to actually restring the ukulele and also dont knwo what strings to get
Thanks for this Matt, just what the string Doctor ordered.

Take one string off at a time, then you can copy the ones that are still off. Anything fluorocarbon for me.
Wow, definite difference! The old ones sounded okay, until you played the new ones. 👀
Definitely a warmer sound from't new strings, not as "clangy"
Yes you can hear the 'clack' of contact with the strings more with the old ones.
New strings give a slightly more mellow tone but there isn't too much in it I would say.
