First of all, I really like Cher. I'm remembering that time period, 1981. It's a year before her serious acting debut in "Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean" in which people started thinking of her in a new light. She was still raw, but she demonstrated that she could act, and not just be some TV celebrity or cheesy Las Vegas show act, which was what she was thought of up until then. Over the next ten years she assembled a filmography that any actor would be proud of, even winning an Oscar too. People had laughed at the thought of Cher as a serious actor back then ( I remember personally), but as she normally does, she stays true to herself, not caring about the critics, and just being herself and having fun with her life.
I love all these live performances of songs she didn't record. Her voice is just amazing on all these tracks. Fans like me are very grateful for this Cher channel on UA-cam, I regard each one of the postings like a person gift to her fans. Thank you. Your fans love your voice, Cher.
