also you cant disassemble components because you are pulling them out with sorter and not letting them back in
this is why I like isy's inventory manager script, it deals with everything and there are no sorters
Losing that many assault cannon shells makes me want to drink more coffy.

Hi, i just recently picked SE up...
There is a mod projector to assembler or something that exports the list of items needed to fix.
If the drones are small grid it would be funny to just make a large grid drone that rams them till their kaputt :) pirates use that tactic on me so thats revenge
Pro Coffy Tip:
To dump a ship's inventory into your base fast, name the base cargo container with some tag that's fast & easy to type, like "CC" (or whatever is near your movement keys). Then type CC when you open the inventory (it should default to typing into the search bar) to highlight only that cargo container, and on the left side pick the Ship-only inventories button. Then use the Transfer All button in the middle between inventories. Two letters, two clicks, done in 2 seconds.
You can also set up the Isy's Inventory Manager script on your base to make rules about which cargo containers should hold what items. That way, components are kept out of your mining ships and stay where they're supposed to be. IIM is more flexible than using sorters, too.

Last Solo Survival ep I made a comment about turning that crater into a rocket etc. silo, you obviously went with a different idea entirely but hoping I might have got you thinking about rocketry etc. at least :D

Trying to figure the missiles at the moments, drones could also be interesting
I don't know how you play without Build Vision.. it would sort your conveyor issues out in 5 seconds and save you alot of frustration! Ctrl allows you to peek inside the grid (makes all armor and blocks that don't require power transparent) that way you can see your conveyor network from outside (and any faults)

My bad, it's actually Structural Reinforcement that has the x-ray vision functionality
@@adriaanerasmus4670build info has an overlay that shows your conveyor network as well
instead of missiles, you could make like attack drones which would engage enemy grids around and return to the base once done, saving on hydrogen or platinum
a mobile Sam car would be mad to see think its a mad idea you got for the missiles, I would also try a system of defence drone flying a perimeter around the base with just some decoys on it maybe a small gun on them just to help but would use them for just pure distraction. along with your missiles. work that defence to minimise your attacking need to focus on precision. or build your build a massive turret defence
iv been working on a ship that has just a wall of turrets on starboard side with heavy armour and can cruse past like a old wars raining hell upon. it's ugly but man does she rip them apart with some support decoys rushing the enemy
perhaps making some patrol drones? or maybe some defence satellites in low orbit to defend from afar?

even some long rang ballistic missiles controlled with remote and guide them right into the drone base and get it from your base.. coffy

please for the love of god stop moving charge between batteries
whatever goes into a battery is automatically multiplied by 0.8, you are losing 20% of power by recharging rather than discharging the attached battery to run the base
also if you set just one on recharge it will pull charge from others on the base, once again with 20% penalty
