A draw would not have been a good result for Luton that argument is complete bollox. Everton were already 2 points ahead, they have a game in hand and an easier run in. Luton only need to beat one club and with 4 games left the club with the same no of games, only one point ahead and Man City and Chelsea to play is by far the better chance to overhaul. Forest losing is far more beneficial to Luton.

Good, fair play to Nottingham Forest. A club has to officially call them out. We at Liverpool have been fuming about all PGMOL Refs and VAR in general, you all laugh at us. Now everyone is starting to see why PGMOL and VAR craps cannot be tolerated any longer and something drastic needs to be done.

Having the "right" to do something wrong doesn't mean it's the right thing to do.

VAR also robbed Coventry. Fans should protest the FA cup final by not buying tickets.

Watch some old matches and see the mistakes. Watch Middlesbrough v Leeds and see Gnonto at least a metre offside and goal given with no VAR. This could get Leeds promoted!

While some have argued that the first two were marginal, the third denied penalty creates the narrative that Forest was never ever going to be given a penalty for "reasons". Why should we believe a fourth mistake (or second mistake) would be any different?
The officials at this point have that much credibility. This EPL season has the worst officiating I have ever seen in a professional league. Things are only getting worst, not better. It was a shambles from the very beginning of the season and we see massive failures pretty much every match day.
Forest is not wrong for pushing that narrative. It was handed to them on a silver platter. Pundits are being tools for not seeing that, even if they disagree.

When mainstream media start to dilly-dally on a topic or brush it off quickly you gotta be careful...Non of the mainstream media is actually calling out the refs or PGMOl cz this is ridiculous.
It's a business,3 points at the end of the season could be the difference in millions for Forest and y'all are out here busy talking like it doesn't matter.
WHY CANT THEY JUST FIX VAR??

I do agree, clubs should not be selecting refs they don't like. BUT in this instance because there is some sensitivity to this game, the time of the season (intense), would it not have been prudent to quietly make a scheduling change. But I do think Forest has the right to express their frustration. Mainly because its clear that the normal channels of communication mean nothing. We can all see there is a genuine issue with VAR and how it is being used, far too many incidents are happening. I do not think it comes from a place of corruption, but from a place of hubris and incompetence.
And, I would like to officially see the 'drawn' offside for the Coventry goal. I don't know if it's true, but the latest circulating image of the drawnline has it going over the United players foot which would have resulted if drawn correctly a goal for Coventry. That is pure incompetence and as shocking a decision as this may be as its unheard of the match should be replayed. People are incensed by the unfairness of wrong decisions when they are known not by human error.

The situation was going to shine a harsh bright light on this official. Forest pointed this out. The situation could easily be fixed. Nothing was done. The official failed spectacularly. The powers that make official selections handed the ugly narrative to Forest on a silver platter. Forest, their polite suggestions ignored, are absolutely right to go with the narrative.
@Lioness_UTV: "I do not think it comes from a place of corruption, but from a place of hubris and incompetence."
Yes...but. A habit of covering up the incompetence of mates is a form of corruption. A habit of not caring about the professionalism of your colleagues is a kind of corruption.
The rot starts from the top. On paper, Webb's ideas sound reasonable. On the pitch, the officiating has genuinely gotten worse. The "we answer to no one" attitude that Webb seems to encourage means we should expect things to continue to get worse.
Either fans need to get much louder and clubs need to get much louder, or the situation will only get worse. Mark my words.

They are ALL right....Officials, FA's, FIFA, UEFA, VAR etc. are killing the game.
"YES" corruption IS rife from Officials within the Game.
Football Rules should be made black and white, there is too much grey within the game.
Far too much left open to interpretation.
Too much of the "Old Pals Act".
Far too many mistakes made through "Human Error".
But is it Human Error, or is it a "Pay-Off"?
Too many mistakes, so many blatant mistakes, so to ask that question is not something that is far fetched.
    FAR TOO MUCH INCONSISTANCY.
Handball should be handball, no interpretation.
Offside, should be offside, no interpretation.
Make a rule, a rule, no: "if this, but if that, he did this rather than that, it was on a naturel position/it was not in a naturel position", whatever the f....that means?!.
The more they mess with the rules, the worse they are making it.
What is the point of VAR when they are still getting it wrong and we can ALL see it is wrong...all that is, other than the Officials on the pitch and those VAR Monkeys hiding in a room somewhere.
The problem is Refs can hide behind the FA, etc, they should be made to explain their actions.
They need to explain, in front of the camera's, why they got it wrong.
Collina, who was, in my opinion, THE best Ref there has ever been, once said: "The sign of a good Ref is the one that takes their time making a decision, just as long as that decision is the right one. The sign of a great Referee, is the one you forget is even there".
Too many Refs these days, like the limelight and love to hog it...Oliver, Taylor, Tierney, Dean, love it.
Football needs to get back on track.
Rules need to be made crystal clear, NO ROOM FOR INTERPRITATION!!!!!
VAR needs to be much, much. much quicker, far too much fuffing about.
They need to interfere leas, or at the very least keep it consistent.
Officials decisions MUST be made accountable by those Officials, on the field and off it.
    NO MORE HIDING!!!!!
If an explanation is needed then they must be put in front of the cameras to explain themselves and if they do not like that idea, get out of the game!!!!
Managers and Players within the Game MUST be allowed to express their views, just as long as those views are constructive and done with a civil manner.
Too many speak out, speak the truth and are then punished for it.
They are bullied into silence and that is wrong, freedom of speech must reign!!!
THIS GAME/SPORT THAT WE LOVE SO MUCH IS DYING, IF WE ALL SHOUT LOUD ENOUGH, EVENTUALLY THOSE CORRUPT OFFICIALS WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO COME OUT OF HIDING AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.
To George Benson, Goldbridge and the rest I say: "Well done, keep it up!!!!"
    YOU ARE BEING HEARD :0)

Many more mistakes without VAR- watch some old games. Game is not dying it’s getting bigger. All managers and fans are totally biased!

    • @neovarleydownes9109
      @neovarleydownes9109 Місяць тому

@@geraldbutler5484 Thanks, but I do not need to watch old games, but I for one was a Pro Footballer in the 60's through to the late 80's :0)
I also think you are missing the point.
Yes, there were more mistakes then, than there is now and up to a point, it was excusable, but the point is, they have all this technology, 500 cameras at every game, covering more or less every angle, 5,000 Officiating at every Game and yet still they get far too many decisions wrong.
But because of this and I would say at least 70% are blatant, glaring mistakes, people are, quite rightly, asking the question: "Are these mistakes, or is there pay-off involved?"
And given the mistakes made, where they are the only ones that get it wrong, when we all can see what really happened, I think it is a valid question to ask.
How can they make those glaring mistakes in 2024?
It makes no sense, other than underhandedness.
Not a case of being biased, we can ALL see it with our own eyes.
Even against Clubs we cannot stand and as Supporters, Managers, etc. of other Clubs, we can see the wrong that is being done and we come together.
no one is owning up to the mistakes being made and why they are happening and they all hide behind the various FA's, etc. and then the FA's hide and that must stop.
Why should they all be allowed to hide?
Like any other Company/Business/even with Royalty, they need to be made to speak up and explain themselves, but most important of all, they all need to sit-down with Players, Ex-Players, Managers etc. and start to get it right and put it right, before it becomes far too late and this game is ruined forever.
