regardless you don't buy anything on the premise of some kind of condition like getting out of the rain. Getting out of the rain is always free. If they want to add a price to that. Its sus.
These scams only really work because it takes advantage of Japanese being accomodating.
Though I also hear these scams are commonly only done to tourists. Either because most Japanese are aware of these scams or the whole, its okay to scam and abuse gaijin because they aren't one of us kinda mentalities.

IDK, they didn't get scammed so much as they were manipulated.

2:57 - 3:10 and wasnt even normal tasting cheesecake but cheese tasting - i dont think its supposed to taste as just cheese. "Cheesecake has a rich and creamy flavor with a slightly tangy and sweet taste."
